would just like a shorter way of being able to refer to her when other people ask how i know her - i can only conclude that she is a sister-in-law in a very round about way!

No relation what so ever, she's obviously married to your Brother in laws brother, and he's no relation to you either!
I think you only related by marriage to your siblings immediate partners ie wife/husband, their siblings/partners have no family ties with you at all!

They are you in-laws. Brother and sister. If your brother marries a woman it would be sister-in-law, if your sister marries a man it would be brother-in-law. You are not related by blood.
