I've been dating this guy for the last 4 months and we have argued almost from day one. I really like him to a point and I think we both are just two strong personalities so I say to him:

"I'm not sure what direction your going and I want to make sure you and I are on the same level.I've been talking with friends and asking myself questions and I don't want to fall in love and then find out later you don't have the same vision as me"

He starts cussing and telling me if I listen to my friends then I will be lonely and that if I observe a little more then I would know ( thats the point I dont see anything) and that I thought I was better then him.

So since then we have been all down hill and I recently was over his house and he went to sleep and called out another womens name. I thought that was just as bad. Now he keeps bringing up the conversation and says he's not longer interested in me. I think he's been seeing someone else or has someone else and made up an excuse.

1.I've not spoken to my close female friend for 4 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. She only wanted to be friends.WE WERE NEVER A COUPLE

2.1 month ago she sent a txt saying the friendship is OVER and for me to get on with my life.

3.A week later we met at a friends reunuion party,we spoke a lot but she looked hurt and uncomfortable.At the end of the night she hugged me tightly and said take care+we'll see each other on the group roadtrip.

4.Today I wrote her an email(via facebook,where we've emailed ech other a few times) asking if we're still friends(was confused as she said the friendship is over).

She wrote back saying:"Yes emailings great.Yes we are still friends. Yes, I'm very busy. Yes, I'm sure you are too xx"--WHY SO BLUNT/RUDE REPLY?

5.How do I rebuild this friendship due to my selfishness?Can it be rebuilt?

p.s. She's got a BF now-I'm happy for her,I fancy 2 other girls now!

I am a single mother of a 3 year old. I live in New Orleans Louisiana. I have been told that none of the Housing Assistance programs are accepting new applicants due to the after affects of Hurricane Katrina. I have been turned down for Child Care Assistance and Food Stamps... but I barely scrape by after paying for daycare. I live with my parents at the moment, but they are not so happy about my son and myself staying here. They want us out. I have no place to go. What other assistance programs are out there? Please help me. I don't know what to do.

We've been together for about 6 months now, but I have to go back to work- 4-6 months on a ship away from land mostly. Sattelite phone is about $10/minute, so won't be using that much. Will the locks and phone # be changed, or will she still be around?

I friend of mine from high school is getting married this summer. It's been 10 years and we are not really close at all anymore. She is having a bridal shower this weekend. Do I have to get her two separate presents for the shower and the wedding, or is one enough for the whole occasion? She will not speak to me. We had plans on my birthday and he told her she could not go and he would not join us. He has nver met her family and they have been dating for a year. She has not met his family either. I feel like he is no good for her and I aplologized and she hung up on me. Should I keep trying to speak to her or leave her alone? When I ask one of these stupid questions, the response varies. Some, everyone gets, some, almost nobody. But generally, of those who GET the question, about 2/3 say funny, 1/3 say I'm stupid.
So what's the verdict? I can't think of new ones forever and I'll get tired soon, but if most people are annoyed I'll stop.
Or at least reduce to 1-2 a day.

We've been friends now for almost 10 years.... Yes we've had our ups & downs & some REALLY bad downs. But we've always been able to pull through & find the best in each other & move on. Well this last time might have been the straw that broke the camels back. I myself have major issues happening from a separation from my husband, 3 children, & being on the bubble for loosing my job of 5 yrs. I also have other "family" problems that my plate is full!! Well she was supposed to come over last week but told me she had to cancel due to a "support group get together" for a friend that committed suicide. My fault comes in, as I didn't give her condolences or even reply to her message. I'm not a mean person or am I cold hearted. I just have so much going on here that I didn't say anything to her. I do feel for her & I am sorry that she lost someone in her life, but now she will not talk to me, look at me & oh yeah she's my boss!!!!! So now my work environment sucks. What would you do or say???

I just found out over the weekend that my boyfriend has apparently been telling his family and friends my entire life story. I would not care that much, as it is apparent I guess he loves to talk about me and that shows that he cares ... but, a week before we decided to be together I had broken off an engagement with someone.

It only lasted two weeks, and it meant nothing to me and I have chalked it up to a very big mistake and don't even think about that guy anymore, but I am being judged by my current boyfriends family members because I was engaged.

The ex-fiance was a complete jerk, used me and then cheated on me with his ex. I never even mourned over this guy he was such a loser. I'd really like to drop the memory of it from my life, and here is my boyfriend telling people about it.

Should I really be so peeved about it? Should I just let him tell them whatever he wants, and deal with their judgements? Or, tell him to stop telling people?
