my class is having a debate and i need to search on the upsides and downsides. is it moral or immorall to have sex without commitment or with commitment? and how you think in the future it might affect the people?

Sex without a commitment is just a act for pleasure.
With a commitment is Making Love, a act that shows your mate that your his, and that all you wish is to give him/her pleasure.
The biggest down side to no commitment, you do not know who they have been with, and are open to all sorts of bad things they can get. (STDs)
In a commitment, you can still get those STDs, if one is not faithful. But, The chances are far less.
Once you experience it, you will know.

Only any more it's only immoral to have non commited sex in the eyes of some churches. ( it seems as long as you confess your sins, your forgiven for anything now days!)
As most know, the longer the world exisits, the more people we get. Their living longer. So, with more choices of sex partners, I believe non committed sex will increase, even though some schools try and say their students are abstanant!
The upside on non-committed sex is: release pent up energy, enjoyment, and freedom to do as you please.
The downside of non-committed sex is: lack of self esteem, lack of respect for yourself, possible dieases if not practicing safe sex.
Commited sex usually leads to married folks complaining about the lack of sex later in their commitments.

COMMITMENT & SEX
Upsides: There is love involved. Sex is something special. You know your companion is faithful
Downside: There really are none if there is truly love, trust and commitment involved.
NON-COMMITTAL SEX
Upsides: As far as I'm concerned there are none! You just feel dirty afterwards
Downsides: You have no feeling of self worth. Sex isnt special its just sex. Non gratifying

Entering into a relationship that is sexual without a commitment is like adopting a baby without having any parenting skills.

I think women are incapable of sex without committment because we're so emotional. I also believe that men, no matter how much they'll deny it, can't have sex without comittment for long because they too will starve for the emotional connection. We're bred this way, to be comitted, to share intimacy with only one person. Those who don't, are lonely, depressed, sad and fighting for something to be filled within them.
