1.I've not spoken to my close female friend for 4 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. She only wanted to be friends.WE WERE NEVER A COUPLE

2.1 month ago she sent a txt saying the friendship is OVER and for me to get on with my life.

3.A week later we met at a friends reunuion party,we spoke a lot but she looked hurt and uncomfortable. At the end of the night she hugged me tightly and said take care+we'll see each other on the group roadtrip.

4.Today I wrote her an email(via facebook, where we've emailed ech other a few times) asking if we're still friends(was confused as she said the friendship is over).

She wrote back saying:"Yes emailings great.Yes we are still friends. Yes, I'm very busy. Yes, I'm sure you are too xx"--WHY SO BLUNT/RUDE REPLY?

5.How do I rebuild this friendship due to my selfishness? Can it be rebuilt?

p.s. She's got a BF now-I'm happy for her,I fancy 2 other girls now!

Contact has only been restored for a month-if not less! Before we didn't speak to each other for 4 MONTHS.Does that play a part-surely she'd have told me where to go,rather then pretend to be my friend?

You have got to realise you hurt her by starting to 'stop' your friendship - even if it was because of your strong feelings for her. Perhaps you thought it was for the best and she didn't feel the same way and you could therefore have caused her pain in the outcome.

She was probably very angry and hurt by your actions and has retaliated by being 'off' with you. However, when you bumped into each other she probably realised what a good time you had together as friends and realised what was missing.

It's probably going to take a long time for her to forgive and really you can't blame her for being how she is as she doesn't know how you are going to react.

Dont blame her for moving on. There are plenty of fidh in the sea. Meet another girl that doesn't get PO'D all the time and likes the same stuff as you. Also ask yourself Do I really lile this girl or is she FAKE. That will lead you to were you need to go.

i really wouldnt waste anymore time on her. i bet you anything if you start getting on with your life she will make contact and then you can write back...yes i am busy, yes i dont care...and yes im over you.

She sounds like a cow. Plenty of other people out there that are much nicer who are worth far more spending your time with, not wasting your time with losers with no respect for your feelings.

it seems like she's just being your friend to keep you happy.
I have a guy like that, im really not bothered about him but he's obsessed with me. I just tend to say 'yeah...ok...sure' n stuff in emails just to keep him happy cause im not mean enough to tell him i aint bothered about him.
It seems like she's not really interested in your friendship other than saying hi and stuff. i think you should move on and forget about her, just keep her as an aquaintance because she doesnt seem to want any form of friendship.
sorry!
