We got married and right away we got a new house, new cars, up-graded our basement, built a deck, not to mention we both had changes in careers ( I was working three jobs at once to help keep the lifestyle my wife wanted )AND WE HAD A BABY BOY as my wife wanted as well.

We did all this in 2 years and 11 months of our marriage.

I feel we did alot - we accomplished what some couples in 7 - 10 years can't do.

Well, during all this, our stress level was obviously up high. Often disagreeing on decisions. Our focus on each other drifted apart and she felt out of love and sought out divorce.

I feel betrayed. I worked hard for the family often giving in to her material wants and now she wants to divorce me w/o seeking even one marriage counseling b/c she feels that she has fallen out of love.

We have been in separation for 10 months, help me to reconnect with her and make her feel that we can revive love we had shared before.

I used to have an amazing girlfriend but she finished me cause she 'didn't feel the same way about me anymore'. Since she now has a new girlfriend. But what is it about her that makes her much more appealing?

During high school i lost all of my friends and i think negative things about myself that i just i would disappear i have very low self esteem no social life no friend in the world except a boy im overweight trying to lose weight i dont know what to think about my self i try to put positive things in my mind but i seem to cant. I am a very shy person and don't know how to initiate sex with my b/f. I really want to do different things with him but it's hard because of my shyness.

I am 14 years old, I do act very mature for my age, and I look 18 according to everyone. I was dating a guy who is 16 for almost 4 months. I cheated on him at a party, and I guess it was a stupid thing to do. But it was with his 25 year old brother. We very much like eachother, but he also has a 4 year old daughter. Is there absolutly any hope for this relationship? And my ex boyfriend is going to Europe for 5 months, and he is leaving in a few days. Should I tell him that I cheated on him with his brother, and sacrifice being friends with him, or should I forget it happened and go on?

So theres this guy I play hockey with, who I'm a little interested in. But, I don't know if he likes me. I was getting the vibe he doesn't cuz anytime I talk to him he's really quiet and wont start talking with me (unless to apologize for hitting me with the puck). But I once spent like 15 minutes talking with him, and he thought it was awsome I broke up with my now ex, and suggested blow torching his pictures.

But I was talking with someone on the team and they were telling me that he's really into me and has the 'hots' for me. He was saying how in the dressing room and everywhere else he's really talkative and really cocky then once I come around he's really quiet and shy.

I do try and talk to him, and I do smile.

You think there's the possibility he may actually like me? If he does why wont he talk to me or make a move?

I've been with my gf for nearly a year and things were great the first few months. Then she started getting upset about some of my female friends and how friendly they were or comments they made. She always asks questions about my past, in particular of my exes. I know it's healthy to discuss it to some extent but she always finds some new question to ask and it's got to the point where I get upset now. I mean, when is enough..enough? She knows I'm getting upset, yet she keeps asking and gives some half wit explanation of why she wants to know. We've agreed not to discuss it any further in the past, yet she keeps digging. Then when I get upset she starts spouting off things like I hate her or she's worthless or I think she's a POS. I've got other questions, but I'll make other topics for those :-/

I am a 17, almost 18 year old girl. For 7 months now i have been going out with a fantastic guy called sam. But, he is over a year younger than me, and lives 250 miles away. we met through my cousin, but i have only seen him 3 times in all the time we have been together, although we used to talk almost every day. we still do really, but he is getting really clingy and im not sure what to do

then, back in december i met an amazing guy through my mates. He is my age, single, lives in the town next door and is mental about me. we talk a lot, and i care very deeply for him. he knows about sam, but he hopes there is still a chance for us. he says nothing can happen unless i am single

i had dumped sam for him but nothing happened, then i got back with sam, but now i think i want him again. however, i dont want to hurt sam. what should i do!!!

My soon to be fiance and I are talking about ways to cut the costs of our wedding reception. Any ideas? Our friends are umm, big alcohol drinkers, and we don't want them to get all wasted at our reception, because it's our special day, but we don't want to completely cut the alcohol out either. What are good inexpensive alternatives or ideas that may help us out? Thanks!

What if you never get married?

2007-03-20 05:08:03 · 18 answers · asked by Macy 1 in Marriage & Divorce

We are totally in love, we live together, we both know we are the ones for each other and are soul mates. Here's the kicker, we've been together for three months. I know it sounds short, but we're both very old souls, but young in earth years. I'm 25, she's 23. We've both been through a lot, we're both very attractive and have dated many many people, and we have both found exactly what we're looking for in each other. We both have careers and make very good money. We moved in together and everyday is exciting and beautiful. So why rush you ask? We're not rushing, we want to share in what we know is love and committment and want to show the whole world. So how long should I wait? I was thinking of proposing in July, would be 7 months dating, then get married in 9 months from then. We would have been together for over a year at that point. What do you think people?

Well, this is the ultimate marriage of convenience, voluntary made for each other. The guy a terminal cancer patient, moderately wealthy with no kin to claim any inheritance or survivor benefits, but not filthy rich to buy the company of a voluptous damsel for his numbered days or afford decent in home care from a discount priced illegal caregiver. The gal a 20 something vixen, nursing student, behind in paying college tuition looking for short term assignment to rake in some dough. Feelings are incidental if not coincidental. Wedding bells and nuptials are to the mutual benefit of both who might even earn bonus karma points by helping each other out. The only gainers if the twosome decides to stay away from the Vegas chapel are the insurance companies and pension plan administrators who dont have to dish out a dime if the cancer patient with tarred lungs from prolonged puffs of Marlboro in his younger days to prove his virility crash in on his appointment with the maker. Wedding OK?
