Well, this is the ultimate marriage of convenience, voluntary made for each other. The guy a terminal cancer patient, moderately wealthy with no kin to claim any inheritance or survivor benefits, but not filthy rich to buy the company of a voluptous damsel for his numbered days or afford decent in home care from a discount priced illegal caregiver. The gal a 20 something vixen, nursing student, behind in paying college tuition looking for short term assignment to rake in some dough. Feelings are incidental if not coincidental. Wedding bells and nuptials are to the mutual benefit of both who might even earn bonus karma points by helping each other out. The only gainers if the twosome decides to stay away from the Vegas chapel are the insurance companies and pension plan administrators who dont have to dish out a dime if the cancer patient with tarred lungs from prolonged puffs of Marlboro in his younger days to prove his virility crash in on his appointment with the maker. Wedding OK?

At first glance I disagreed with this, but if both are ok with it and there is no family this money should be going to I say stick it to the Insurance companies and pension admins...you know they would stick it to you (and in some cases probably have) if they had the chance. As long as both parties are totally agreeable on the arrangements...more or less they are giving each other a helping hand and doesn't a favor deserve one in return?

Do not kid yourself that this is good karma - it's pure selfishness on both sides. Yes, it's legal, and doesn't actually harm anyone, but it's still just barely this side of the line from prostitution - ultimately, the nurse is trading sexual favors for money, but on a long-term agreement.
And the geezer shouldn't kid himself that he's being benevolent helping her out, because there are plenty of ways to pay for college that don't include selling your body.

They are both just looking for an easy score - but hey, it's their choice and it's legal, so if they're both happy with the bargain... but neither of them should be hypocritical and pretend it's good karma.

This sounds like a marriage made in heaven. He might live for many years once he begins sipping from the fountain of youth and sending his seed into depths of her womanhood. There might even be an heir in the making.

Blessings to this happy couple.

Yeah, then you meet the real man you want to marry down the road, whom you love and want to share your life with, and you have to tell him you've been married before, but it didn't matter anyway, it was only for his money and he was a terminal cancer patient and you just did it for the money and he just did it for the young sex....whatch how fast a normal man will run for his life. You're crazy.

I say if it is a mutually acceptable to the two people then they should.

I have seen people get married for all sorts of reasons with all sorts of age and cultural differences.

Getting married for the green card, getting married for legal protection, etc. etc.etc.

As long as both partners go in with their eyes wide open and realize what they are doing will permanently change their lives then they should get it done.

its probably a bad idea

look what happened to Anna Nicole

she and her son both ODed

after they got all that money

maybe for some people in some places a deal like that could work, and I will confess if I was dying, she would get hired,

mostly that sort of thing is a bad idea

I would rather have daughters of mine NOT do that sort of thing.

Yes, it looks like they are made for each other, only I hope the gal does not get impatient and finish the guy, before cancer gets him.

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity for both...
Make sure they get a good Pre-Nup to protect both their interests...
She gets a good life, he goes out with a bang...
