Last week my ten-years-younger brother (he's 10, I'm 20) who is in the fifth grade was put in time out for an hour because some kid chased him with a freshly sharpened pencil threatening to stab him with it. When the kid caught my brother, he really did try to stab at him but, thankfully, my brother had on a very thick jacket so the pencil never pentrated. My brother retaliated and when the teachers saw this, they put both boys in time out for an hour. My parents and I congratulated my brother for standing up for himself and me and my mother will be having a very strongly worded talk with the teachers (and possibly the principal) about this event.
When asked why my brother was put in time out, the teacher said "he should have come to us instead of reatiliating. We had to punish him too". Do you agree with this? What are some things you would tell the teachers/principal? Do you agree with punishing both parties of a "fight" even though one started it because no one told the teacher?

We are best friends, him and I. He found out I liked him. I never wanted him to find out because I didn't want things to get akward for him. Actually, ironically, things got akward for me. He stays by me side at all times now, and always stares at me. He talks to me nonstop and helps me up when I fall (which is all the time). It's sort of akward because he has a girlfriend in another school. Has this ever happened to you. What did you do? What should I do?

I hold open doors for woman all the time. It’s out of respect but I see many men not doing that. “Why” Is honor dead or are we starting to slack teaching our children respect?

while sitting at a stop light. Why can't these kids pay attention to where they're going? My wife is OK - the damage to her rear end is light.

Should I press criminal charges?

Whenever something happens to me she wants to know what is going on with me but I dont want to tell her b/c she always tells everyone else that wants to know or she will just simply tell everyone about all of my problems. I really dont like it when she does it but I also cant tell her about it b/c she will either get mad at me or she wont listen to me.

A few weeks ago i felt that something was not right with my husband so i continued to ask him what was going on.He was not being affectionate with me and disregarded my hurt feelings. He finally admitted that he doesn't want this. He's been living at his brothers house going on 3 weeks now. We've been married almost 13 years, and have 3 children. We were married young (i'm 32 he's 36 now). But we've always had a wonderful marriage. We have no real issue's, get along great, have lots of fun and laugh and always been affectionate. We agreed to not see each other at all this week in hopes that he would come to his senses. But i'm terrified he won't.NO one saw this coming, including him.My 16/14/12 year old kids are devistated. They don't understand why he can't at least try to work things out.He said that he's never felt he was falling out of love with me,but feels being my friend is good enough right now. There is definately room for improvement, but i'm so angry that he's not even willing to try.

I'm 18 and one of the managers I work with is 30 and I am very attracted to him. And he flirts with me...but not in a scary weird way or anything. I know the age difference is pretty bad....what do you think I should do? Just leave it alone?

Why do men after sex usually put their boxers back on? Ive noticed this with my husband. Right after sex he gets up and puts his boxers back on. Is it something to do with comfort? Or what?

My cousin, who has a 4yo son thru a previous relationshp (nvr married) has been seeing a guy since Jan. He's a nice guy, even tho she was a bit skeptical about his just having gotten out of a 3yr on/off relationshp the month before they were set up on a blind date. She did feel threatened about that past girl because of the history & because still sometimes talk via a mutual friend (his roommate). Nothing major, just hi how are you's & catching up when she calls. He assured her (my friend) that she has nothing to worry about bcause they are done, & he was the one who broke up w/ her.
It's been pretty fast & intense. She met his family, went on a trip with his family & her son, I love you's have been exchanged, & now she wants him to move in with her, which he is going to do.
Am I being wrong for worrying about this? Is it true love or insecurity? Will it last? What about her son? The new guy seems like such a kid himself. But they are in their early 30s, so maybe it can work?

Will girls forever hate on chivalry and favor the player?
Will grils forever go for the guy that will hurt her rather then the Knight that will protect her?
Should all the men that are good yet outcasted forever die and let players and the bad boys run the world?
Girls and Women ...inquire thanks!

When you have an internet relationship with a guy and he starts totally avoiding you, is it okay to assume you're broken up, even if you love him?

I met a guy (set up by friends) and we hit it off. We've actually only spoken via email and phone but we have alot in common and get along really well so far.
I mentioned that I really love this one restaurant (that is pretty expensive).
ANyhow yesterday he asked me out for an official date this weekend and said that since i had mentioned this place I piqued his interest and he had gone to look at the online menus and wanted to go there with me.

So he suggested the date, the place, wants to make the reservation, and saw the menu (which has the prices)...do I offer to pay half or is this insulting to guys on a first date?
