I'm 18 and one of the managers I work with is 30 and I am very attracted to him. And he flirts with me...but not in a scary weird way or anything. I know the age difference is pretty bad....what do you think I should do? Just leave it alone?

The age difference is considerable, and you have little in common except for physical attraction and a shared workplace. It would be unprofessional for either of you to date a co-worker, and HUGELY unprofessional for a manager to date a subordinate employee.
Follow your instinct and just leave it alone - some people are better to dream about than to pursue. Leave the manager as your eye candy, and focus on a guy more your age for a real relationship.

You are pretty young now. Take time. You may go on a long leave and feel whether you are missing him miserably or not.
If it is just infatuation, then you will be able enjoy your leave otherwise you will like cut short your leave to come back. You will realise you are in love. Love has no age bar. I am married to Simul, my darling wife who is sxactly 12 yrs younger than me and today we are happily married for last 28 yrs. We have two cute daughters (25 and 21 yrs old). So be my another daughter and be your own judge and decide.
Good Luck. Bye.

Huge age difference + co-worker + BOSS = veeeery bad situation. Leave this one alone unless you enjoy office gossip coupled with a horribly difficult and awkward situation once the relationship ends. Trust me.

Mixing business with pleasure especially with a superior, is never a good idea. If things ever go sour, you will most likely lose your job or your work life will be awkward and uncomfortable. If you're that into him then leave your job and then pursue something with him, otherwise you are just asking for trouble.

if you like your job... leave it alone.
Or, if there is a potential that you can sue the company based on the manager's harassment, go ahead and lead him on. You are sitting on a gold mine.

But seriously, you are looking for big trouble if you want to start playing with your manager. He is either very stupid, very horny, or both.

hun it does NOT MATTER about agge as long as you and him are both happy that is all that matters dont mind what others say there just jealous that you two like each other. At least he is mature its hard to find a guy that is 18 and MATURE not to mention trust worthy. GO GET HIM GIRL

I wouldn't date anyone who is responsible for my paycheck. Too many problems happen if it doesn't work out.

If you like him that much, be friends; but don't date until one of you is in a different job position (or company).

If he's un-attached I'd say, go for it. He is alot older than you but, that shouldn't be the reason for not going after him. You clearly like each other alot....see where it takes you. The only way you'll know if it'll work out, is if you give it a go.
