When you have an internet relationship with a guy and he starts totally avoiding you, is it okay to assume you're broken up, even if you love him?

We talk over web cams and stuff when we do talk, but he used to get on all the time and now I haven't talked to him in like two weeks. Right now though an internet relationship is all I can handle. With my kids and all, I don't wanna drag them down with me, so I try to shield them from it. LD relationships are just easier.

i dont really have an answer for you, i dont know what that would mean. He might just want some time away, or maybe somethings happened or hes busy? i wouldn't assume its over unless hes said so.

I did notice a lot of people saying that you can't love him because hes over the internet, or you've never met him, but thats not true, dont let anyone tell you how you feel. and best of luck to you love.

Some guys use the Internet as a means of having a non-commitment relationship. They like the idea that they can get a girl to connect with them on an emotional and mental level. But then when the girl starts asking when can they meet, the excuses start and the vanishing acts begin. They usually also have more than on Internet relationship going at a time because it makes them feel good to know that there is more than just one person out there who finds them to be the man of their dreams.

If he is pulling the disappearing card do yourself a favour, move on, and when he tries to make contact with you again, make sure you let him know that you deserve better, and it wasn't right for him to play with your heart that way.

My 9th grade science teacher taught us a good lesson about assuming. The point ended up -- never assume. You make an "*** out of U and ME".
Ask him right-out next time you get ahold of him. Unless you're certain he read your email or however you sent it to him, I would not assume. Many different things could've happened in his life which have kept him away from you. Perhaps a family members death... Or perhaps he picked up another chick locally... My bets on the latter, but still... Never assume!

I would assume that the relationship is over. If it doesn't work out with this guy, there will be others. And there's always a reason for things not working out. It's probably because there is another guy out there that you are meant to be with. Take Care!

You should try to contact him but things are probably not good. If you don't hear from him for over a week then I would assume it is probably over. If he comes back in like a week and has a good reason why he was gone that sounds true you should take him back.

Yes, How do you know if you love him? Have you met him in person? I think a relationship needs physical attraction, how do you get that on the internet?

I'm guessing you've never seen this guy in person. Internet relationships are not real relationships. If you really loved him you would have met him by now.

first of all.. an internet relationship isnt a real relationship and doesnt really count..unless u meet on a regular basis in person and actually partake in some kind of activity together... other wise it like dating a pen pal in japan..its not real..
