leaving him and I don't know how to get over the pain. I don't want to feel like there are no other men on earth. He's constantly talked down to me for three years. I have a fair self worth but lately it's been hard. I know there are other guys that are nicer but how do you find one to have a relationship with. What are ways to cope with pain of leaving a relationship? Help!

i wonder how much affect i really have on my son's life. he is 5 and in school he comes here every other weekend. i happen to work all weekends and my schedule cant be changed as i am in law enforcement. i do pay child support and its about 800 amonth so i know he is taken care of finacially. in onpnion your onpnion do you think any affect of a father is really being noticed by the child. 4 example if the father said to the mother just take care of the child laeve out my visitation how much is the father really being missed . i really think not much at all . just curious what everone else thinks

I just got married n its truly a happy one! We are now staying in our dream home which we had put in so much effort in creating. We r really happy n I know I had married the greatest guy in my world, who really loves and dotes on me, who is willing to sacrifice anything for me, just to make me happy. As for me, I love my husband, but deep in my heart, there is this guy, my ex, whom I am not able to forget. Even so, I know very well that my husband is the 1 I want, n I will want to be the best wife I can be.
I am really happy until 1 day, I receive a sms from my ex, telling me that he stays in the same blk as us. It was a great shock for me n my husband. Although I did not react much, I know he is stepping into my life again. I hate him for telling me this. I act as if nothing had happen this 1 mth but I feel really unhappy that I've been thinking of him, esp when this is the time I should be enjoying my newly wed life! I am very sad. How can I let go n not think about him anymore?

I am a 34 year old women, i had written my father an email stating how i feel about him and our relationship. my father left when i was 7 years old and there has been resentment and anger. he is a very controlling man, not very affectionate nor encouraging. i really dont feel comfortable around him. so i finally after all these years told him. i really hurt him with some of the things i said, so i offered to go and talk face to face and try and make it right... but he says hes too hurt and doesnt want to talk.... once again, its his way or no way....
any advice?

I have been a lesbian for a lil over 3years and I have been with my gf for that long. Im not sure how to tell my parents and friends? my "girlfriend" whom we have been getting into arguments to the point where i said we needed time apart has started to question me about people i have dealt with and web pages with friends names. recently she is talking about her intuition and investigating me which i find disrespectful. Mind you she feels we are working on getting back on track but she is coming with this now. She has made me mad to the point i am like forget it. I have this friend who is really friendly and complimenting me on one hand but on the other, indirectly puts me down at the same time.

For example, I am tall but very very attractive and a few pounds over weight but certainly not obese or fat and he can see this for himself but he seems to always say hurtful things like "oh yes, I know this girl who is just absolutely gorgeous and thin and blah blah........as if he is really trying to make a point of it and to somehow make me feel bad. I ignore it most of the time but it does get to me a lot when I am always saying good stuff about him and to his face.

It's as if he wants to make me feel ugly for being beautiful and can't bear to see me good at anything. I feel worthless due to his comments but can't tell him to shut up about women all of the time. I don't fancy him at all so it's not about that either.

I live in the U.S. and I'm in love with someone who lives in Germany. We met here in the U.S. dated for just a couple months while he was here and then he left. then I went to Germany for Christmas to visit him. We decided not to keep up the relationship after I left Germany for obvious reasons. We did email frequently, but during the last month it got kind of slow which kind of saddened me. Now he wrote me and told me that he might get back together with his ex-girlfriend.

Half of me isn't upset because I know we can't be together, but... the other half of me realizes how desperately in love I am with him more than I ever have been with in my life. I would willingly pack up and move to Germany if it meant I could spend the rest of my life with him.

There's nothing that can be done... but at least I feel better now that I have to somebody how much I really love this man. Thank you all you Yahoo Answers addicts.

Well there's this guy I'm apprenhenive about. Well he works at my gym, and there was alot fliritng action going on.He gave me his number, and I called him and he told me that i was very attractive, and invited me to workout with him, and to attend church..and that if i ever wanted to go out too a movie or hang out to call him..so I called him, and we made plans but he ended up cancelling so we set it up for the following week..and oops again we ended up not going out once again..so then he tells me "He'll let me know when he is available" and I'm like okay..sothe following week we talk this is all by text messaging by the way and I tell him to call me..and he tells me he can't dial out. and to call him ..and so i call him and we talk for an hour. And I find out that he's 25 and he still lives at hom, hasn't had a girlfriend in six years..hasn't had sex in a year,hasn;t finished school, but oversees his family church that he's heavily involved in....so my question is what do you think

I ride street bikes and not to be cocky, but i am attractive and not a cow, I listen to heavy metal and have a little bit of an edge, Have no problem getting guys, I speak my opinion and am extremely witty, I have been told guys are intimidated by me? Then i think maybe they have no cahonas... and i wouldnt want to deal with them anyways.... I guess ill come to the internet and ask a question about it. My boyfriend purposed to me at the begining of Feb. We have only been together 9 months..So long engagment I want! LOL
But lately Im just so frustrated with some of ours problems - If we break up do I give him the ring...We have jokeingly talking about this - And he tells me to keep the ring since it wont be no good for him and he will leave with the TV....About a week after we got engaged we went out and I bought a newer/bigger TV for my place that he moved in with me...Im not tring to keep the ring, But I think its not right for him to think he gets the TV...

OK, there is this guy that I really like, but the problem is I am white and he is black. I am completely falling in love with him, but I don't know what to do. There is a girl I liked since I was middle school. I had same class with her in middle school. Now I'm high school senior. I was not brave enough to talk to her until she move to other high school last year.
I was so unsocial from freshman to junior year. I was obsessed in games and computer.
last week I went to high school prom with bunch of friends.
There I met the girl I liked for years. I was still scared to talk to her. She might not even remember me.
But instead she asked me for dance. I was so happy. I asked for phone number. She called me yesterday. but I have been unsocial too long. I didn't know what to talk. All I could do was just listening and answering. She could have gone really bored. what should I do?
I have kind of low grade but going to ok college in ga , and going to major archatecture. But she is studying so hard and want to be a lawyer. she said there is big chance that she is going college out of state.
