everyone around me, my friends especially, are falling in love and it makes me even more depressed because thats exactly what i want to do. Everything i want to do or want to have, people around me are getting it immediatley and thats what upsets me. I just want to fall in love...will it just happen or do i have to be prepared..or is it a sign i'm not ready to fall in love...or is this just really dumb?

Im married and im very lonely is this a normal feeling ...i have been married for 12 years and never had an affair...i have been faithfull to her every day...ive talked to my wife and i feel that she isnt listening...she feels that im in my mid life crisis..i dont know ...help me please ...sex is very good but im no longer being stimulated mentally..

so i was iwth this boy. we fell for each other at a dance. we started talking and then went out. kinda spur of the moment. we went out ofr a week. then i broke u with him b/c i was paranoid that he was gonna break-up with me. And he liked other girls... we haven't spoken face-to-face since.. just on myspace. I told him i regret it and I know he's pretty much over me.. and has been 4 awhile... but want to win him back. does anyone know how I can do that?

I do not know how formal the wedding is. Their color scheme is silver - does that indicate formality? All I know is it is in the evening in mid-April. Is a cocktail dress sufficient? What length? Can I add character (like a funky scarf or piece of jewelry) to stand out a little bit? I mean, just because I'm not in the bridal party doesn't mean I want to look like every other guest...

My boyfriend and I have been together for six months. I don't feel like we're a typical couple. We want a lot of the same things in life and we have identical values. We are also individuals who have our own lives. We live together and we get along famously. Most of our close friends say they could definately see us getting married, and so do we, we've talked about it, even talked of having children together. How long should we have to wait? There is no doubt that it's eventually going to happen, but it seems like the only reason we're waiting is so that others approve. Why is there a certain time limit to getting married?

Here's the question: just because lying and cheating are so common doesn't make it right!!! So, why do people seem to sigh and shrug like it is just the way of the world, and you just have to accept it and move on? It is wrong, dead wrong, and there is no excuse. But being unforgiving and prideful is wrong too...I made a committment too, and just because he broke his vows once, doesn't mean I'm going to by throwing in the towel. It takes strength of heart to stick with it and regain some faith: what I need are suggestions on how to stay positive and happy and try to have faith!!!

When your bf or gf asks you to buy them things that cost hundreds of $$$ (not necessities but designer stuff, high end phones, jewelry and stuff), just because they know/think you can afford them, aren't they a gold digger? Do they equate spending with love, or do they just see an easy mark? Maybe they're just not used to being treated well? I think the asking is pretty tacky in itself, and a red flag. Or is this just the way relationships go when you're the more succesful partner? And how about this - someone who told me "we need a break" called me like 2 weeks later ( a week before her bday...) saying she missed me. I took her out to dinner the day before her bday and she asked me several times during the meal where was her gift. She was dead serious, and pouted that I was the only one she would get a gift from (attempting to guilt trip me I guess). What do you think about all this?

I went out on a date with this guy Friday nite (it's Sunday afternoon now)and I think we had a good time. Went to his place and we're supposed to watch movie but ended up
making out and got a little physical. We talked for quite a while,I'm not sure whether I kinda intimidated him
with myself and the stories about my traveling&cultural experiences. At the end of the nite, I said I had a good time
and he said he had a great time and great conversation, and I told him I hope to see him again and he said definitely.
I told him to call me. Well guys, I'm really into this guy and want to call him first, but I'm not sure
whether it's too soon. Should I wait? Do you guys think he's interested in me as well?

My husband is getting worse by the day. He does not have a "normal" job he works here and there odd jobs for his "buddies" whenever he feels like it, he constantly has to be out of the house drinking with "buddies..again" and bowling etc..He has not contributed to a household chore or groceries for as long as we've been married. We never do anything with our kids together he is never home. He comes home from one excursion and then says he has to go somewhere else or with someone else. My kids and i eat supper alone nightly and I take them everywhere with me. I work full time so I foot the bill for most everything. What do you say to a man who is almost 40 but has the mind of a 16 year old? How do I make this work?

We are both beyond our 20s and are looking for something serious and long term. She is basicaly a really nice person I would normaly want to spend time with and get to know better. I even know for a fact she is very interested.

But her face is not what I consider pretty. Her body is not bad but the face is the most important to me. It's what you look at when you communicate with someone and it's what you look at every morning.

Can you build a lasting ralationship with someone you don't find physically attractive?

I know I know what most of you are going to say.. "Just wait and it will come" I am 25 not in a rush to get married or any commitments until the right one comes along.. but I am just sick of the men who attempt to come into my life... None of them are the right ones.. I get turned off if they try to sleep with me right off the bat.. when they know i am not that kind of woman. These games and going home alone is getting tiring.. and then I see happy couples where you can just feel their love for eachother.. and I wonder "When am I going to have that passion"???

my best friend did somthing prety bad to me, she went on AIM and made up a screename and then IMed me on it, I asked who it was and she prented to be a stcoker.She thought it was a funny joke but I was sceard out of my mind, i was so sceard my parents were gona cal lthe police but then my bestfridn called me and said that it was her.I felt like my bestfriedn had just stabed me in the back.Now we realy dont talk anymore and she relay has no freinds and then this rummer was spread about her and it was my other friend who did it. So my old bestfreind is so upset and no one will tell her who did it, i relay want to help her and be friends again but i feel tht i cant trust her and it was my other friend who did it and i dont want him to get in trouble. Her family is falling apart, her mom and dad wont stop cursing at each other, and she gets caught in it. her dad has threatened to put her mom in a nursing home cause she is in a wheelchair. if that happens, she moves to oklahoma, if that happens she'll never see my mom or stepdad again. if she moved shed have to live with her dad and stepmom (lets just say her stepmoms not the nicest person in the world) Her stepdad and mom talk bad about my dad in oklahoma. just cause her mom dosent love him anymore dosent mean that she doesnt. she always get put in the middle.


Any advice for her??

i had to leave town for an nhs convention 4 hours away from home for two days. when i was talking to my bf on the way back home, making plans to see eachother when i got back, he told me that he was on the verge of tears from missing me so much, and that he wanted to go to sleep until i got to his house just to make the time without me pass more quickly.

how sweet is this?

Guy i know has asked me to go and stay with him over night, been seeing him for the last 16 months(you could say we are, just bed buddies, no strings)its the first time he has asked me to go and stay with him, he usually comes down every few months as he lives about 3 hours drive away.
