everyone around me, my friends especially, are falling in love and it makes me even more depressed because thats exactly what i want to do. Everything i want to do or want to have, people around me are getting it immediatley and thats what upsets me. I just want to fall in love...will it just happen or do i have to be prepared..or is it a sign i'm not ready to fall in love...or is this just really dumb?

just wait, be patient...don't feel the need to fall in love. in you truly want to fall in love, wait for the right person. don't love for the sake of loving. then you will be rushed into making a bad choice which might affect the rest of your life.

You like the idea of love....but love is not always a fairytale.
Everyone wants to have a special someone in their life, but don't think that you can force love. It happens when it happens.
Stop focusing so much on "love". Find something you like doing, make some new friends, go on a couple dates. Just do me a favor and don't get the idea you're going to fall in love with every guy you date. Let things happen naturally. I always say, the best things in life come when you least expect it.

Dont rush into things like that, especially love. You will fall in love with the person who you know is right for you and that will happen naturally. You just have to wait for the right guys to come. If you rush into getting bfs, then its not real love because all you want is just to have a bf. Anyway, dont be pressured by your friends to have a bf. Relationships are seriously stressful and takes a lot of your time away. And soon you will see your friends will be jealous of you that you're single and free. Enjoy the single life you have now before you get into a relationship.

This isn't really dumb, and I'm sure a lot of people have felt the feeling you're feeling right now. Love comes along naturally; although it seems as though it's okay to rush it, if you rush true love, the love you are going to get isn't the kind of love that lasts. The one for you is going to come one day, but don't wait for it. Just live your life to the fullest, enjoy it, and spend some time with the girls. Don't worry about it too much.

No offense, but take this as a sign that you are not ready. You can't force yourself to f a l l in love, that takes away the whole "falling" thing. When you come across the right person, it will occur naturally. Don't force yourself to like someone, it could screw yourself up. I tried that and I didn't fall in love for years bc my expectations were too high. Just let it happen on its own.

Urm, yah i know what your talking about. The thing you have to know and understand is that alot of the "love" you are talking about might not actually be "love".... it can just be half hearted love. The word love is constantly thrown out of peoples mouths lately, not everyone means it. You'll when your in love you'll understand. Love will happen to you, if not now eventually, don't worry its not really dumb. Alot of people go through this... they feel that they will never get it. Just becareful cause if you really are looking for love you might do some dumb stuff because you want to make sure it works. just take it slow, calm down it'll happen

That's a hard fall. You should love nothing of life; because, life is about giving it all back. You should only appreciate things and people; some very much.
For the time being, when you see some one you feel good about show him interest; talk to him. But yeah, be prepared for disappointments.

I think you're worrying too much! Real Love just doesn't happens. It developes, and it does take time. You can't just rush into a relationship, saying "I Love You", and you have no idea what it truly means. But I used to be the same way... I always wondered why I didn't have someone special. Its hard, but I dealt with it, and I'm still dealing with it to this day. I'm 16, so I have many other things to focus on- besides boys! When the time comes, it will happen for you, you jsut gotta be patient!

well you being upset that everyone around you is "falling in love" is normal. but also shows that you may not be ready (mature) enough to fall in love. 'IT' will just happen. you can't force it. that can make a guy run. Good Luck. and don't be in such a rush to fall in love. You don't want to fall for the wrong guy just because you want it so bad. You want a guy that will treat you like you are as precious as the stars. Be patient. It will happen.

It's definitly NOT dumb.........This is the time of year when everyone is falling in love, even around me, if you really care about someone then it might just happen or maybe it is a sign you are not ready.
Do you like someone, Does someone like you, Have you even thought about being in a relationship right now?????????Remember just think, maybe its not time for you yet.
