my best friend did somthing prety bad to me, she went on AIM and made up a screename and then IMed me on it, I asked who it was and she prented to be a stcoker.She thought it was a funny joke but I was sceard out of my mind, i was so sceard my parents were gona cal lthe police but then my bestfridn called me and said that it was her.I felt like my bestfriedn had just stabed me in the back.Now we realy dont talk anymore and she relay has no freinds and then this rummer was spread about her and it was my other friend who did it. So my old bestfreind is so upset and no one will tell her who did it, i relay want to help her and be friends again but i feel tht i cant trust her and it was my other friend who did it and i dont want him to get in trouble. SHould I tell her or no? pleeesee help me!!

first of all...they meant it as a joke. at least they came clean about it. and yes, you shoud forgive her, no friendship is trouble-free. if you leave a friend everytime something goes wrong, you will find that u have no friends, and you are being tha bad friend. friends are always there for each other through thick and thin. and if you are gonna get bak friends with her dont do it because you feel sorry for her and she has no friends, do it because u miss her and because u want to. pity wont do the friendship any good. jus start off with small talk like "hey",and then work ur way up. and no you shouldnt tell her because then you are betraying his trust and i find it weird how u can still consider him ur friend after this...but not her, and if you dont trust her then maybe you shouldnt be friends. that might jus be one of those u all have to work on to get bak best friends. good luck girly

Tell her but tell her u didnt here it from me because she was honst enough to tell u that she did it so her some respect please she can now be trusted again okay and tell the boy who started itt to tell the girl that he started it it is the right thing to do okay listen to me or else people will hate u I got on the intercom and told every bodt that im am sorry before I did that everyone hated me now every one loves me but a rumer is started now back like before

You need to take her to one side and tell her what has happened but do not become friends again. she needs to know that what she did was horrible but that you are not as bad as her.
Also tell your other friend to stop making up rumours about her just to leave her alone. Don't u think that the fact that she has no other friends is punishment enough?

Let it go. Its one of those moments where you might feel awful about it now, but you'll just laugh about it years from now. Trust me I went through stuff like that all through high school and now i roll around the floor talkin about it with my friends.
