They can be good or bad, depending on how you make them. I know that for me and my boyfriend, it makes the little bit of time we can spend together really special.

I am in an actual long distance relationship and my boyfriend and i just got engaged after dating for 1 year. We started with the long distance since the begining and to tell you the truth, it has a positif side where you both still have a certain fredom to move around, and go out, and do your stuff without of course, doing anything wrong to hurt what you two have built in case of a serious relatonship. Also, the times you two meet are always fun and sweet because to plan to have to best time, and not argue or fight. On the other hand, it's negative because sometimes, your mind can trick you. You have to be really strong and beleive in what your patner says or do. You have no other choise but just to trust him, and your instincts. Also the lonelyness and the desesperation are no helpers. In the end, it depends on both of you. You have to dedice together and really commit to eachother otherwise it won't work out.

It depends on different people. Sometimes it may work well for some people, sometimes its bad for people. Long distance relationships are hard to manage. You need to have strong trust for the other person in order to make it work. Lots communication between two people is important, because obviously thats the only way for you two to be together, though talking. And you need to deal with not being to see each other often. Its managable if you're the type that doesnt need to have physical attention all the time. I would strongly prefer you to find someone near your area if you can.

It all depends on how committed the two parties are. They can work but they do require a lot of commitment - from BOTH of you. How long have you been dating? What is the longest you have been apart? Are you looking at getting married? How old are you?

All these questions matter but ultimately the decision is up to you. To be honest, I haven't run into too many relationships where it has worked out. But that's life - and all things in life happen for a reason :)

Sometimes they don't work. I wouldn't say they are bad. You have to be very strong about the relationship since this person is far. You never could tell if the person is cheating on you though because you're far away. It can be possible.

i don't believe in long distance relationships ...
*you get to know each other only if u r close and meeting regulary..everyday..or day by day
*ur bf should be in front of ur eyes to avoid any betrayals
*long distance relationshipd are not warm enough and makes u deprived of the taste of a real relationship

I'd like to say good but the truth is most of them, unless they are really really strong, turn up bad. In the end they just break off...

It a waste of time. It's only good for him because he can have new girlfriends without having to worry about you finding out, and he can have free sex with you when visiting your town.
