I was crushed when my last relationship with the girl I thought was "the one" ended, so I am not ready for anything serious just now. I am just looking for someone to shoot-the-bull with on occasion. I know this is not a dating site, but I figured, what the heck!

I was on AIM to my best friend I've known since we were nine (we're both 14 now), and she asked me to make her a buddy icon. I went on her sheezyart to find a pic I could use, and took some time. I already asked this, but was severly misunderstood....
ok, I like this girl (high school) and I really think she likes me, but I'm not sure. I've asked her to hang out with me a couple of times, but she's always had things going on. Well, anyway, the last time I asked her, she said her parents wouldn't let her. This led to a discussion about how they never let her do anything, unless they really know the person (she must mean REALLY know, becasue I've met her paretns at least 3 times...). I know she's telling the truth through conversation with other people. My question is: If you were this girl, and you really did like me, how would you act towards me? Does the fact that she is acting the same mean that she really doesn't like me? Soooo many signs are there, but if I were a girl, I'd tell the guy that I really do like him...but then again, maybe she's not sure that I like her....idk. Help me!!!

I find it interesting how we define a "life" in America. In America we tend to define a life as the person with the most rat races, most responsibilities, little disposable income and free time. While people who avoid unwanted responsibilities, have lots of disposable income, free-time and live life to his or her own accord we in turn tell those people to "get a life". You go to places like Canada and Europe and they define a life over there as someone who lives life to their own accord and have lots of free-time and disposable income. While once again here in America we tell those people to.....you guessed it.....get a life. I think here in America we get upset and jealous of people who avoid the status quo and still get ahead with half the effort. If so do we as Americans get upset by people who get ahead with no responsibilites (little to no kids, little debt, lots of free-time etc) and tell these people to get a life? Also, how do you define a life?

I am not sure if I should stop speaking to my ex-gf. She broke up with me a mth ago. We have spoken a bit recently. She gives off mixed signals.

We met up and she was really nice and very flirty with me. When I spoke to her a few days later she was off with me. She has now said it would be good to speak on the phone in a day or so but she has ignored my text in response suggesting we catch up for a drink.

I don't know what she wants and it is starting to get me down. I would like to try again with her. Should I just say it??

I don't want to be harsh and stop speaking to her but it may help me move on.

I am thinking I might write to her and tell her my feelings and suggest we try again but take things slowly?

my girlfriend is a somewhat independant girl. She would go off with one of her friends in a heartbeat(i know all her friends) but when i didnt talk to her for a few hours when we were in the same building, she got kinda upset.

I try to give her her space, but i dont want to smother her too. Also, I always have to make the move. I dont think I can remembe when she came to me and hugged me.

I have this friend whom i get on really well with, we can chat for hours. I've known her for 2 yrs and met her thru my cousin who she was seein. They have just split and spoke 2 my cousin today and he said she just used him, everytime 1 of her friends split with their fella she always split with him. Anyway, lately everytime i ask her to do somethin like go shoppin, clubbin she says she cant afford. But this wkend i found out tht she was going out with her other friend. When i asked her about it she lied and said she was stayin in lookin after her son, then i found out her son was stayin at his dads. When i was a freshman in highs kool there was this boy who really liked me and tried getting with me for about 2 in a half years....he would write notes to me and always tried to hang around me...As soon as i was a junior(me and him are both 17) my little sister came to my high skool and she was a "freshman" she still is...well the boy that liked me is now dating her....its wierd and i kno how he is, i wouldnt say he is a bad guy, its just i kno hes older and wants to experience more..lets just say i kno how he "thinks" i dont want him pressuring her to do anything...and i kno how guys are, they will tell u anything to get some...i kinda dont approve and as im writing this there in her room chyLLen..and i can hear everything so i kno there not doing anything...but wat should i do!? if he breaks her heart..then imma beat hiss a**!!! lol...i just dont want her to get hurt, and she left her boyfriend of 1 year for this guy!! and i did the same mistake and i ended up gettin really hurtt!!

Well, there is a shy blond guy in art w/ me who i think mite like me, but i don't really know. I know there are things like they will look at u and then look away when u look back @ them, but what r some things i u can actually try 2 do?

Like once i heard that if u get really close and almost invade their personal space, they will take a little step away if they don't like u, or if they do like u they'll just stay rite there.

I can think of two right off the top of my head. One is Sandra Bullock's "Hang Man" and Mel Gibson's "Hotel" or something like that. I'm not sure of the name, but it has Hotel in it somewhere. It SUCKS. I hate Wal-Mart sometimes as they sell these movies with big starts on the cover and you open them and they're like the first movies these stars ever made. I am neither a misogynist, nor a homophobe and I still enjoy looking at attractive people. Additionally, I have not suffered a recent relationship breakdown and my sexuality is confirmed in my mind as heterosexual. Infact I have not been in a relationship for nearly 2 years. I like this guy very much.
He's moving really soon,so i do have a chance to meet him,cause we have only talked over msn.
I saw him on the web cam,talked to him..so no he's not a pedophile.
