there is this guy that likes me alot. i mean alot. he has liked me for a long time. ans since i broke up with my bf he has wanted to go out with me. but i like this other guy but i dont no if i will have a chance with this guy. i dont really like my friend. im afraid if i go out with him ill ruin our friendship cause he is like my brother. wat should i do.

Ok, first off this question is not regarding me, its just something i was curious about. I have no kids, i have no child support. So dont come back with the name calling and saying im trying to get out of paying.
My question is this: if a man owes X-amount of backpay in child support, lets just say $5,000 to put a number on this. He owes this money from like when the kid was 16-17-he didnt pay. And the kid in question is grown up now - age is like 23-thus he is an adult and no longer in his mothers custody. (Keep that part in mind)
Now, lets say the father decides to come clean and pay what he owes. Does this money go to the kid (who is now an adult) or does it go to the mother? Remember, the mother no longer is the guardian of the child, since the kid is now an adult.

I have trouble making friends. People always seem friendly at first but then they give me the cold shoulder. Or, people will make plans with me then forget about those plans. Is this normal? I wonder if some aspect of my personality is a turn off. I don't act 'needy' and I am not to argumenative.

I don't know what my problem is, or indded, if there is even a problem.

My mom has broken promises to me since I was five... See I live with my grandparents and I have since I was 1 and a half. My mom would promise that she would come over and see me so I would sit and literally wait for her on the front porch for hours and I would cry over it alot! she would never show and I would always ask her why she did not come and she would say I forgot.. well now I know that my mom is on drugs... so that changes things a little bit. But now she wants to be a part of my life and try to control me and everything.. I have given her so many chances.. what do you guys think I should do.. its really hard because I still love her I just dont want to put up with the crap that she does or anything like that!

I mean, my husband is a great person & I really love him. But, I think he is trying to be a little posessive now that we are married. He also expects me to change several things about me or my lifestyle that were just fine before we were married. I accuse him of trying to mold me into what he really wanted, that makes him mad but I don't think he gets it. I am fine with comprimising, but he hasn't changed anything, because he doesn't think he has any faults(my opinion, not his words)

I was going to math tuition to this really great teacher. She's smart and very friendly. But then i suddenly had to stop because of my health problems...... I haven't spoke to her again.....
And now my parents are asking me to go to her again......

he is caring funny and very attentive, but he never actually says "i love you" we have been dating for a year now and we are going on a mini break to celebrate, everything is perfect but th ILU i told him i loved him and he hugged me and said "your so sweet" he has been in a BAD relationship in the past and somtimes i wonder if this is the reason?? what do you think? has anyone been in this situation, i would appreciate a guys opinion too!

(I have been married for 1 1/2 years now and my husband and I are currently seeking counseling.)
I feel like my husband does not want to confide in me, or tell me anything about himself. He talks more (about himself) and jokes around when we are out with friends, but doesnt include me unless I make some large gesture of interest in him like kissing or touching.

We argue everyday over stupid things, but even though they are little, they still hurt my feelings.

1. a friend took us and another couple out to dinner and forgot his wallet. I go to the bathroom with the other wife, and as im coming out, see my husband paying the bill. I said, "what are you doing? we dont have $150 in the account, we cant afford this." and he says dont worry about it and hands the card to the waitress without even looking at me. (our account was overdrawn, he does it alot)
2. He has an "I dont care" attitude that affects every aspect of our marriage.
3. When we get into an argument he clams up

I'm curious if I may be inadvertantly offensive. My bf's mom is disabled. Once a week she asks me to pick up some food for her, usually its 5 or 6 bucks and I pay for it. Sometimes she asks me to get her some groceries. She has a comfortable amount of money, but so do I. Me and my boyfriend usually do things 50/50 (we treat each other or split things). She always offers to reimburse me for what I buy for her but I don't feel right taking the reimbursement because I'm doing it to help her out. But, it occurs to me that its possible I may be offending her but not accepting it. What would YOU do?

I was throwing a red nose day party tonight but I cancelled it on wednesday night due to lots of bad things happening. Some of them are being made redundant, having to pay £800 to get a pipe replaced, puppy being generally bad, being infertile etc (all this in past 2 weeks) . Anyway today I thought you know what lets have a party I need a laugh. But my friends are now all going for a meal together without me and my fiance. So I feel bad again. I wouldnt feel as bad if I hadnt already bought things in on monday and if id cancelled it earlier in the week and if they had invited us anyway. I know it could probably be worse but I feel bad (there are also more things that ive not meantioned). I just dunno I dunno whats happened Im not an unhappy person but I just feel a bit alone. I hoping for a lottery win saturday lol. Can anyone cheer me up or something.

Ive been dating and deeply in love with a girl for 5yrs since highschool. Just recently for a few months we were distant and I had alot on my mind which kind of effected her thinking we werent right for eachother anymore. Alot of this had to do with another guy trying to steal her heart behind my back, she pretty much was seeing him as a friendship and grew fond of him the last few months... The guys a completely sleezball and only wants in her pants, but she doesnt understand this. We broke it off becuase she felt bad for what she did to me and said she needed time.. A week later she sent me a message and said shes been devistated and missed me, becuase I told her I had to completely cut her out of my life, we ended up getting together after 1 week and its really messed me up, do I keep trying or do I let her go, the hard part is we are the best of friends and love each other alot...it also doesnt help that her friends are trying to get her back into the single seen... what do I do?

Connor lives down in PA and I don't really want to go down there for it tomorrow. He's turning six, but we all turn six sometimes. My pop got me a train set when I turned six, as I remember. Nothing special. I wouldn't mind, but I have a date on Saturday with this woman I met out last week. It's sorta a date. I'm taking her and her five-year-old son out to a movie and a dinner (I hope he goes to bed early if you know what I mean). So, my son's mother is totally expecting me to be there and he's called me a few times this week to remind me to be there, but I'm not really sure I'm going to be able to go three hours to his thing and still make it back in time to take this chick out. And she's hot, too, so this is really stressing me. What I was thinking is that I could call from a rest stop on the NYS Thruway, around Rockland County and say, "Hey buddy, daddy's truck had a flat. Uncle Pete's gotta pick me up." That way caller ID will show I'm an our away from home at least. Thoughts?

my boyfriend and I go to different schools. he won't let me wear skirts unless i see him.

two days ago he told me i could wear a skirt. i said it was ok and that it was cold anyways. and yesterday, i wore shorts because it was sunny and hot. i told him today and he got mad. why did he get mad? because i didn't tell him before i went to school?

is this normal?
