Some people who are not happy with themselves, low self esteem, who have a lot of anger in them from something that happen in the pass tend to express themselves by being very mean and cold hearted. What I do is try not to look at the bad attitude and focus on their good attributes praise them when they do good, most important pray for them. Even when they have done or said something to you out the way be the better person and look over them.

Haha Sometimes, I'm cold hearted but only when I'm in a bad mood. But if people are cold hearted all the time it means they either have a past they are hiding, can't love because of a bad thing that happened..or they don't want to get hurt.

You know jessica, i dont know either, I am a very giving, nice, will do anything you want, kinda guy. i guess you could call me a hopless romantic. I just recently had my heart broken by a girl. She is now my ex fiance, I asked this woman to marry me, I thought she loved me, and she said in the begining of our relationship that she wanted to hear all of my stories. I told her about my past one night in a drunken haze. She tells me when she breaks up with me that she can't handle what i told her and that we can't be together. She meets a man almost twice her age at a bar, she said too him that she doesn't want anything but someone to fool around with. this was not even a week after we broke up, this was 5 days. we had been together 6 months and were planning on moving out together and getting married in vegas this summer. so anyway, being the kind understanding person that i am, I said i would be there for her if she needed ANYTHING, I don't think she realized what i ment when i said ANYTHING, it even ment sex. well I find out yesterday that the reason she really broke up with me is not because of my past, but her own selfish undulterated need to have sex with out a relationship, but she doesn't want to be a slut. so she has been sleeping with the same guy thats almost twice her age for 2 weeks... wouldn't you call that a relationship? I know i would. some people just don't care about anything anymore.

Undoubtedly they have been hurt badly at some point to be cold hearted - the majority of us are born with a good heart and it's very sad that there are other people and circumstances that can turn our warm hearts into cold ones.

Because some people dont care who they hurt when saying or doing things to other people or because they were the victim at one point and think they need to do the same thing as revenge

easy, it's fun. it's built into our genes to take pleasure in the pain of others as for me personally i do it because women seem to love it. i was a nice guy for most of my life, never got noticed once, i finally started acting like a jerk and now the girl i'm the most mean and cold to has actually slept with me.
