Well,if it were me,I'd fly to Texas and spend a long weekend there to see if I'd feel comfotable living there.I'd look into jobs also. And for sure spend alot of time talking things over with the guy.I'd have him come to Iowa and do the same. There are a lot of questions to ask your self...(as we are talking about you here.) Can you give up all of your friends and family to move to Texas. That means you have to start all over again.I would not move in with him right away because if it did not turn out as you expected where would you go?You would not know anyone in Texas except his friends and family.Better to have a small place of your own for just a little while.
Like you said you have not been dating him very long.Still a lot you do not know about him or he about you.Maybe you have some vacation time coming to you and you could make a long visit. That way you have more to base your decision on.Best of luck.

Of course if they want to go futher someone has to move. The ability of the parties getting a new position also would become important. Who can relocate w/ the least amount of problems. They talk about it and then decide where they want to live! The next level would not be marriage unless they learn to live w/ each other first. If there is a home involved that is also a issue they need to talk about. Where will they make thier new start together?

Well, I am going through the same thing right now. If you want send me a private message so we can talk about this. My man wants to marry me when I move over there, but my college education is very important. I am a freshman in college but I want to continue my education but he tells me he will support me in everything I want to do.
I want to live on my own first, and see how we interact with each other. If it doesn't work then is ok, but right now this feels that is going to be worth it.
I suggest that you move by yourself near him to see how you two interact with each other, if your relationship haven't changed and you still like each other very much then get married.

What's the next step in the relationship? Age and maturity make a big difference...marriage means lifelong commitment and continued support...make sure you both have the same values and want the same things in life...

Whats the next level, marriage, someone moving? You have sit down, whatever it is with your partner and see where both of you are and see if you are ready for that next step.

Either you fly down to Texas or let him come to Iowa.
Another good idea is that both of you can fly down to Miami this summer. Best wishes!

The real question is, how much time do you spend with him?
How much do you really know him?
Do you want to go to the next level with someone who you don't really know and spend that much time with?
