My nephew is 16. He lives with his grandparents (my in-laws). His mother and father are both druggies. He has not seen his father since he was 3 and his mother is in and out of prison, hooked on crack, been shot, prostitution. Just not a good lifestyle.
Back at Christmas he confided in me that he is smoking. Not a great thing but whatever... I told him to not let it go further than that and he promised he would not. He has always said that he would not get on drugs because he has seen what it has done to his parnets and he does not want to turn out like that.
Recently he has changed his MySpace page. The back ground is Bob Marley smoking a joint. He has a "What kind of weed are you?" survey and his cursor is a weed leaf. I know that weed is not all that bad. Even I have done it. But I know it can lead to other things.
Is it any of my business? Should I ask him about it? Should I tell my in-laws (his guardians) about it? Just let it go? Any advise? Please!

I need suggestions on wedding flowers. I was trying to plan for an elegant but in my budget wedding. I am only having one bridesmaid, and possibly a matron of honor (if my sis who hasn't had a wedding chooses to participate). One groomsman poss best man. I don't know a flower girl or a ring bearer. The facilatator from my church wants me to have a flowre girl, ring bearer, and at least three ushers and three hostess. Now she has said I need corsages, boutineers (spelling) and I don't know how to budget for this. I don't know how much wrist corsages cost and boutineers and I can't afford to spend over a thousand dollars on florwers. Any ideas on how to cut florist cost. I was thinking of making at least the bridesmaid bouquet and my throwaway bouquet from Michaels but she my facilatator got a little racial and stated african americans buy their flowers making them is too cheap. Please help me. I am getting married in April 08

Then are all ashamed about thier "history". Is this why so many of you turn to religion?

I also heard of a rule that you are supposed to multiply by 3 to get at a womans real number as she is always deceitful about her past.

Anyhow, maybe you women do this so that you are no longer tempted to stray during marriage.

I have been with my fiance just over a year, and my daughter is 3 and shes from a previous relationship.
Well my problem is that I think he yells at her way too much and is unfair in his punishment towards her. He always acts aggravated with her, never calm or understanding.
He actually told my daughter *keep in mind shes 3!!* that since she didnt listen to him then he wasnt going to listen to her... So yesterday he yelled in her face about sitting on his lap, and I calmly asked him not to yell at her... And he went OFF. He was yelling in both our faces, in my ear etc. He called me a variety of names while doing this so I decided to leave.
Well, Im 5 months pregnant with his child.... Im at a loss for a solution because I dont understand where this behavior came from. He NEVER used to act like this. He was so great and caring and gentle with my daughter at first, and with his nieces hes was same way. WHY is he acting so irrational?? We WERE so happy, excited to be having a baby...

Basically we have been having a lot of problems in our marriage for a while he is controling (but says he isnt) he is moody, childish, selfish and manipulative (but he says he isnt) he also seems to have a lot of anger inside him (but he wont admit it). we have a mexican girl 23 years old that has been working for us for the past year. she speaks no english at all. she works 11 hours a day and is the only mexican there along with my mom and cousin. i try to converse with her to keep her from being bored but conversation is somewhat difficult. i know some spanish because i took 3 years in high school. we had some decent conversations before and i try to talk to her everyday. she only speaks when i talk to her and never talks to me. if i dont speak to her the whole day she will not talk to me. she is not a shy person. . should i just stop trying to speak to her.

I am getting married this summer and my sister used to be a wedding coordinator. I have ideas for the wedding and everytime I mention them to her she tries to talk me out of it.
