I live in Iowa and my boyfriend does too...and then his boss is sending him too Ohio State...do you think that that would work?he's going to be gone for 1 year and i don't know what to do. i won't get to see him really and i don't know what to do.

Well, i don't think there's any point in waiting him...we're talking about 1 year!!! It's a long time. I know that it won't be so easy to forget him but you should try not to think of him...at least not until he comes back...in my opinion you should find another boyfriend... and don't feel "guilty" because you can't be sure if he stays faithful to you...he 'll be far away and as a result he'll be able to do whatever he wants when he's off work..Also, it'll be painful for both of you to keep on waiting to see each other and you may finally get "bored". Anyway, you could be again together when he returns. See the bright side:in this way your relationship will be tested and you'll find out if you really love each other and your love can overtake any obstacles like this one and remain as"strong"as it's now..

Listen I tried long distance before and it didnt work. You get caught up with others things sometimes and then find yourself wanting more and if you can't take pressure of worrying about what he's doing then DO THIS...tell him that you support what he wants to do and you'll be there for him just as long as he is there for you. He does'nt have to be there but he has to want the same things as you and you have to be willing to accept that maybe this just might be a change that will end up being something good for the two of you.

i think u just ask bcz u cant go with him. anyways i also far away from my girlfriend. and we are in continues contact on phone. i know she can wait for my return. and i will must go back and marry her.
