i've been with this guy on and off for about four years. it's never worked out for us, though we've always had a very close relationship. we'll date for a little while, everything will be amazing and then, out of nowhere, he'll meet someone and veritably forget about me. he'll date a new girl for about a week before kicking her to the curb too, then he'll stay single for a while. we always end up seeing each other somewhere and getting together again. recently, he called me out of nowhere and gave me a very heartfelt explanation of his behavior in the past four years. he said he think he's in love with and always has been.. and he always ends up leaving because he's completely terrified by that fact. i really don't understand that. if he really loved me, wouldn't he just stick around and not just get out at a moment's notice?

We saw each other for the first time in about month two nights ago. The conversation was good. Emotional. Heartfelt. But she seemed unsure of getting back together. We then hugged, or embraced, more accurately. Then started kissing. Then started kissing some more. And then ended up going to my house for more kissing. And then a goodbye. I reached out to her yesterday and she said she is not sure if this is a good idea. I feel horrible. Rejected. I wrote her a letter articulating my feelings. I suppose in the end there is nothing left to do, but wait. Unless you have any other advice.

i met her in high school. she knew i liked her but i couldnt tell if she liked me the way i did her. i know we got along really well. shes like my sis i never had i told her and visa versa. now in college two years later. im still a virgin lol. and she wonders y. the second time i met her she gave me her number and soon after she invited me to her house for the 1st time. i told her to leave her pajamas on she said no but she changed her mind and left them on. it seemed like she wanted to b alone with me but her little cuz was in the way. and she didnt want her mom and grand ma to c me cuz they would embarras her. later she said "dont u have something to tell me". i told her no but i really wanted to tell her just not yet. she was tickleing me a bit and visa versa. another day she asked me to go work out with her and i did. i accidently went into the girls locker and saw her changing. yea she was shy and when i saw her soon after she gave a little smile. we are going 2 go out more.

I've never been able to make friends well...I have a few who I call friends, but we only talk every week or so and see each other less. I see these tv programs where other woman have this great network of friends who get together to have dinner..movie...ect....I just have never had it. I should input that I have a speech impediment..I stutter...which does put a lot of people off...a LOT!! I'm willing to open up and be a good friend but I do have limitations...such as phone calling....I stutter even worse on the phone and really hate calling.
I just don't get it, is this more common than I think..? My husband seems to be the same way....
Could it be that our open views on life scare people away...ie: we don't try to keep up with the jones...we both believe in God..but not really organized religion (thank you all for praying for us:) We are very family oriented as well.
I've been baffled by this for most of my adult life...is something wrong with me???

My son is ugly so he dates girls that are not really all there so he can get some easy booty. Im constantly giving him condoms because he's always getting his freak on!!!!! She had me blindfolded, and then she tied me to the bed. She stripped me naked, and then told me she was going to do bad things to me. Next thing I know, someone is on top of me. It was nice, but then she took the blindfold off. It was her brother! I've never made love to a guy before that, but now that I have, I know I don't like it. The problem is, she goes out ever Thursday and Saturday night, picks up a guy, brings him home, and if I won't do the blindfold thing, she says she will sleep with him instead. I'm in a fix here. Can someone help?

My wife left me last last September after 18 years and now I have moved to a completely new area and would like to meet new friends, but to be honest I don't know where to start. I am not a pub or nightclub sort of person and in my job I only meet customers and have no work colleagues as I am self-employed. my ex broke up with me 2 weeks ago. i got a drunken phone call @ 4am saying she really liked another guy. also told me when i took her back a couple months ago she was dating some other guy (which now i feel like an idiot) this was a lot to take in since i loved her and dated for 3 years. i got a msg saying we need to talk the next day. i called her back she didn't answer. havent spoke since.

i have seen her on the weekends at the bars and she brings him to my favorite hang out. she goes out of her way to talk to my friends and say says to them don't hate her for this. i would never do anything like that. i want nothing to do with her, and i avoid her like the plague. everyone says i deserve better and that she is nuts, i agree. what is up with this girl is she nuts? why would someone not even have the common decency to end it without getting involved with someone else?

this question is coming from a male, but i was wondering for you girls, do you feel like this saying applies to you? (sorry, but i'm looking for responses from girls in their 20s and above) i dated a friend for a bit, but she ended things because she wasn't exactly sure how she felt. we actually began dating because i was gone for a bit, and when i returned she said "i didn't know what i had until it was gone, and this was an indicator to me that i wanted to be with you". even after things ended, she said a lot of things to me that made me feel like although she didn't have all the answers, still a part of her felt what i feel about her. it's been about a year now since i've first started pursuing her and honestly it's so tiring, but because she means so much to me, i feel like this is something i can't let go of. so my question is: does it really take over a year for some girls to figure out their feelings? am i just being impatient? what should i do?

I am 16. My sisters are 13 & 14. When I was their age, I wasn’t allowed to go to school activities because my parents were overprotective. Now my sisters are because they aren’t my parent’s firstborn. My parents only worry about the firstborn and I am. My cousin is 12. When I was 12, I wasn’t allowed to be in chat rooms. My cousin wasn’t allowed to go to chat rooms and after my parents told her parents don’t worry and that when I was 12, nothing happened to me when I was on the computer, she is allowed to now. Now I am not allowed to date, go to parties, movies, or friends house. I told them to tell my parents to give me the freedom and they refuse even when they got freedom because of me. It is SO UNFAIR. Last week I told my parents I want to dorm in college. I said I don’t want to be around unfair people who take benefits from me and not return it. My parents yelled at me, slapped me hard, took away my cell and said I will not get it back. I cried 24/7.
