this question is coming from a male, but i was wondering for you girls, do you feel like this saying applies to you? (sorry, but i'm looking for responses from girls in their 20s and above) i dated a friend for a bit, but she ended things because she wasn't exactly sure how she felt. we actually began dating because i was gone for a bit, and when i returned she said "i didn't know what i had until it was gone, and this was an indicator to me that i wanted to be with you". even after things ended, she said a lot of things to me that made me feel like although she didn't have all the answers, still a part of her felt what i feel about her. it's been about a year now since i've first started pursuing her and honestly it's so tiring, but because she means so much to me, i feel like this is something i can't let go of. so my question is: does it really take over a year for some girls to figure out their feelings? am i just being impatient? what should i do?

Women never know a good thing when they see it, unless it belongs to someone else. Women are only flirty with me when they know I'm with someone. It's like they're taught to think all single men are potential rapists.

Date someone else, and she may get jealous, but take it from me...there's a lot to be said for letting a girl go her own way. You'll make yourself crazy trying to get her.

I think that statement is totally true! Although after a year, I think you're being a little bit too patient, I think she either needs to start back in a relationship with you, if that's what she wants, or you need to move on.

Good luck!

I haven't experienced that feeling yet.I've loved others and things didn't work out,but I know that was what was best in the long run.
