hello my name is mackki and i have really good grades in school and i usually chose my friends right but now my best friend (maya) has been like all rude to me so i started hanging out with the popular group and i've had a really great time and my grades hav not changed but now maya has no friends and i feel ba should i make up with her or make her jelous it's basicly always competition plz help me decide thanx a bunches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay well making her jealous will just hurt her even more. Whether thats the thing that everybody does at your school well its not right. If you feel bad for her then don't make her jealous. But if someone's going to treat you like that you walked away and you excpect a reaction by that. You expect her to come to you. But the question is.; is does she know why your doing this? DOes she realize that it affected you when she treated you like that? if she doesn't then she probably feels abandoned that you backstabbed her and left her like that. You have to let her know that if she wishes to treat you like that then theres no use in being her friend cuz thats not a friend. So let her know how you feel and if she agrees to respect you then you guys are good. If she continues this then forget it. NO wonder she has no friends. good luck and best wishes.

What would be the point in trying to make your friend jealous? Too bad she chose to be rude to you. Speak to her to find out what changed her behavior towards you. Is she so mean that she has trouble keeping friends? Have you also changed? It's normal for young people to want to be with the "in crowd." Just make sure that you aren't trying too hard to be popular and lose good friends. Speak to her and see if the friendship can be mended. If not, then move on and be happy.
