I know women talk behind backs, about each other mostly, all the time. I am just wondering if they do the same with men. I have hurt a few hearts (mine comes first right?) and I want to move on. I asked a woman out and she seemed very anxious to have dinner, and then after telling a few people about it, and a few days went by, she gave me the cold shoulder. Then it happened again. The woman was positive, checking her schedule in front of me, and now a week later she is cold, after having been quite cordial before. I mean, that was the condition I waited months for before I asked her to go to lunch. Now it seems like she is hiding. I just wonder if it is possible that women are saying bad things behind my back, and if so, what should I do. I assume, from what they tell me, and what I've witnessed, that anytime there is an interest in someone, that they talk to each other about him, assessing through each other whether he is a thumbs up or down, offerring potential status.

I'm 26 and very rarely approached by men. I have been told that I'm cute and dress well. I am intelligent and have a sense of humor. Also a big sports fan. Usually when I'm out with friends I am having a good time so its not like I am acting like a b****. What is going on? I don't have a problem approaching them. Its just nice to have them come to you sometimes. I don't have a problem with being single. I'm not desperate. Its just sometimes I would like to have someone instead of the same disappointments.

Do you stay at home or work? Are you a husband or wife? Kids? And does it take a toll to stay home on the finances? What state do you live?

I'm just trying to see if people are able to stay home while the other spouse works, or if both people have to work to make ends meet. Also if more people stay home for kids or just because they dont have to work.

I been with my boyfriend for 3yrs. We always had our ups and downs but for the most part our relationship is good. I feel that the reason this relationship is so much stronger than my past relationships because we started out as friends, instead of just jumping into a committed relationship. Ok, i have 3 bridesmaids in my wedding. I'm getting married on july 7th and 1 of my bridesmaids told me last thursday that at the end of may she is moving to alaska!! WTF??!! I was so mad i didnt even know what to say. I've had time to think about it and she says that 2 weeks before my wedding shes flying down here for it and to be apart of everything but i dont see how this is gonna work. First and foremost, she doesnt have the finances to do this because at the moment she doesnt have a job, and what do i do?!! I dont want to worry the entire time if shes gonna make it and i dont wanna take the risk of saying, ok i'll trust u to be here, when i know that she probably wont and i'll end up with 2 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen, a $160 dress that i'll have to pay for, and the feeling of being let down. I just dont wanna take the risk, yanno? SO can someone help me tell her nicely that i dont want to take that risk? I dont want to hurt her feelings but i dont wanna take that risk. HELP!!
