Only ask a woman her age if it's necessary to do so (ie. if you're going to a bar etc.) or if you know her well. You can also ask other people her age. You can also find out by ask which year of university she's in, or how long it's been since she graduated high school.

I do not care when people ask my age. I am 43, but look 33.
I think women who are insecure are scared to tell their age. I also come from a multi-ethnic back ground so I think that has something to do with the slow aging.
Don't worry about those women that don't like to tell their age. Leave them be with their insecurities, and slowing appearing wrinkles, botox and treatments. It will all come to a head anyway. You cannot stop the aging process no matter how you may try.

I think it all depends on the age of a woman you want to ask. OLDER women do not like to be asked their age!! Then again, some don't mind at all. I think it's more insensitive to ask a woman her WEIGHT!!! Hmmm, so what can you ask a woman without her getting upset?;) That's for you guys to figure out!!!!!

I don't see why it would be an issue but some people are sensitive about their age (and weight). I'm glad to be alive at all...I don't mind telling how many years I've been on this earth this time 'round. ☺

It used to be but I think that now it's more acceptable because there's a lot of hot older women and they are not ashamed to say their age.

Depends but unless you need it for something special I would avoid the topic. If it comes up in conversation that is one thing but don't push it. Your liable to just get yourself into more problems.

since the beginning of time, etiquette has stated that you NEVER ask a woman her age from 2 to 130! Never, never, never...
