It's lets him know that he's the one doing it for me and he's the one that I'm giving myself to. He's the one on my mind and that I'm not secretly fantasizing about someone else. It gives his ego some love.
It's no different than how I like him to whisper terms of endearment in my ear. It makes me feel loved, cherished, and emotionally connected to him.
Our inner selves all need some loving from our partner from time to time. Men and women just need it differently.

every one got his thing some thing that turns him on.
I dont know if this is not just a convention.
I never thought on it before, I dont think it is really important to me.
