Yeah, it sounds like he is pretty preoccupied with other things going on.
Just call him up or talk to him face to face to see what's up with him. He may actually be avoiding you b/c he doesn't know what else to do. So, ask him if you can help him with anything or if he needs some space.

Maybe he has a lot on his mind .....Or he's trying to push you away so you can break up with him cuz he doesn't want to seem like tha bad guy and break up with you....... sit down and tell him how he's making you feel......
