I dated a guy for 10 months, and shared in the expenses, lunch, dinner, breakfast, movies, him more than me, but I helped out too. Then about 2-3 months in the relationship, he brought up "dutch" more than once, so I started paying my way every time we went out, and I started to resent it. How do men and women feel about this subject?

I'm a 14 year old guy....but i'm homeschooled.


And I just moved across the country for the second time in ten months so i don't have any friends.


I now live in a neighborhood that is mainly made up of retired people.

I'm a freshman in highschool (remember that i'm homeschooled)

I'm kinda shy (I'm not one that will walk up to anyone on the street and say "hi"...although i try that every once in a while).

any suggestions on how to make friends, or any good conversation starters?

I called a girl last night to ask her out. I have known and liked her for months, and know she is single. Anyway, I was just going to casually ask if she would like to grab some food or go out, if she was around or not busy. Well, I found out she is going to be at her parents house out in the suburbs (I live in the city)...So, when she calls back, I am guessing I should just pretend I didn't know she would be out at her parents house, and then subsequentlly ask her out for this weekend maybe?? We've been together for 9yrs,same things keep happening. He hit me, abused me, even worst after living together.He seems like hate me so much.Until a day,he chased me out from 'our' house. After seperation for 4 months,now he wants a reunite,he promised that he will change and to give me full hapiness,he even blamed me that i didn't really gave him chance to change. But 9 yrs seems like TOO long to know a person. and How many times he wants forgivness. His excuse was his business stress. We had registered and become a lawfully couples. He gave me 2 options now: 1)He sign me FREEDOM and in return he wants the WHOLE property. 2)Return to be with him. Does he really loves me? and sincerely willing to change?and what kind of terms are this,both options are based on his own advantages.

my best guy friend has been acting really touchy feely today (v-tines day) today we were alone together after skool and when he was about 2 leave, he came over to give me a hug(nothing unusual)(oh yeah he has a girlfriend) then he start whispering. i love you so much and he started kissing me all on my face. i was like WHOA. showed up empty handed today. Well Today I was going crazy cooking him a valentine candle lit dinner i was dressed sexy i had slow music playing everything and i didnt even get a rose in return nothing not even a card from the dollar store! theres this chick. I also thought she was my "bestfriend." Little did I know how much of a ***** she is. I always knew that she was fake but w/e, but I never knew the amount of **** she said behind my back. I knew she was jealous (not too be vain), she said rude things to me. "You're face is big," and she makes "jokes" about my blemishes and much more. she said i was ugly (but thats cause she is jealous), said I was mean(u don't know the amount of nice deeds i did for her), stubborn, annoying etc., she couldn' t pour out one positive thing about me. she said so much ****, i knew she was fake and jealous but I didn't know she would say it to my bestfriend or what she really thought of me. How could she? it did hurt me a little bit but i could never trust her again. so many people are sooo fake to me and trushtworthy, on top of that she admitted that she does talk **** behind my back. and oh yeah! she told my friend not to tell me this! but my bestie did.

They have been fighting alot, and it's like they don't want to talk to each other every so often. They never fought this much, and it's nothing serious like abuse or anything. It's just that they fight alot more than I can ever remember them doing. I'm going crazy trying to figure it out.

ok, there is this girl at school that i really like, and i think she likes me too. the question is, how do i move up from just talking to actually seeing each other? i don't want to appear aggressive nor act shy and would rather not make a mistake that i would regret. Met this guy..."dated" for about a month (I didn't think we really developed a true dating relationship since he never asked me out on real dates...we'd just hang out at his place), then he "breaks up" with me via email. We talk after that because I'm very hurt and disappointed, and now are seeing each other about once a week for sex/romance/companionship, with him frequently saying, "we're supposed to be broken up." His actions when we are together are very caring and tender, yet he does not consider us dating because he says he doesn't feel "romance."
