I called a girl last night to ask her out. I have known and liked her for months, and know she is single. Anyway, I was just going to casually ask if she would like to grab some food or go out, if she was around or not busy. Well, I found out she is going to be at her parents house out in the suburbs (I live in the city)...So, when she calls back, I am guessing I should just pretend I didn't know she would be out at her parents house, and then subsequentlly ask her out for this weekend maybe?? Good or bad idea...any other advice, would be great. thanks

You should move ahead with your initial plan...ask her and let her tell you she'll be at her parents....if she's interested, she'll suggest you make plans for this weekend or another time instead. If she's not interested, she'll just say she's sooo sorry but she already has plans to go to the burbs....If you've been thinking of asking her for months...she probably is expecting you to ask her out anyway....so go for it...Good Luck!

Why not just ask her how her evening was ? Then casually ask if she has any free time this weekend and if so would she like to go out ? You could even bring into the
conversation that you had heard her parents lived outside the city. You're just making conversation, you won't sound like a stalker.

I think you should definately not let her know- that you know where she is.. they may come off as stalkerish.. you should play it cool.. keep talking to her.. she how she responds to you.. if u think she likes you or may be interested then yeah say something like " hey we should def hang out this weekend and do something fun"- don't make it seem that serious.. if she likes you- she should agree.. if not then i'm not sure what is going through her head. I'm sure your a cool guy.. if she doesnt hang out.. call someone else up and go out with themmmmmmmm !

Good Idea but still ask her to go out with you today just because she is at her parents house dont mean nothing go pick her up.

How about just being honest. You could say "would you like to go out when you get back from your visit" Much better than starting out on the wrong foot. Good luck

Yeah, I would definitely not let her know that you knew where she was-you'd come off kinda stalker-like.
Instead, if she tells you she was at her parents' house, just ask her how it went and stuff like that. It will show that you're interested in her, then gradually ask her out. Good luck!

Ask her out! You've waited long enough, don't wait any longer. Pretend you don't know, ask her out, and see what she says. If she brings up the fact that she's gonna be away, then say, oh, how about, then put out another day, or ask what is best for her.

Don't ever pretend in a relationship---about ANYTHING!---you have to build on trust or the whole thing collapses someday.
Just ask her out--why would it even come up where she'll be, and why would it matter that you know???

I don't think that that would be a good idea really. You should just wait until she comes back. After all, what if she thought that you knew she was visiting her parents???
