Why bother dating someone in High School when they just break up with you anyways?

I feel really really ill. I have a cold, I've pulled a muscle in my hip, and I feel like I'm gonna throw up, and I generally feel down. :(

I have an old friend coming to my house today, but shes SUCH an old friend, that I barely remember her. I went to her house a few weeks ago, and it was great, but she has a massive house, and loads to do. Should I make an effort, or be quiet, because I can get away with it, being ill.

Please answer ASAP, she'll be here any minute.

He was a working project,he used to have tons of fights, get arrested, drink alot, let's just say ,a complete bad boy package. But thats was before we met, after, as in now.He stays a home all the time, talks on the phone, running up my bills, complains, but he doesn't do none of the old things he used to.Which should be a good thing, it is it's just , he doesn't go out no where, work, do nothing. now he's a couch potatoe.I love him i just got to much on my plate to be trying to take care of a grown man.and it's not like we haven't tried to make it work, i took him out alot, to have fun down in dallas with my family, he just sat in the car playing with the cd's and the only family member's he became cool with was my brother, and my mom.I know so whats wrong.I pay my moms bills, and my brother lives with his girlfriend just like my boyfriend.and none of them work.So point is now his sensitive, and lazy and i want out.it's hard taking car of my mom, i can't take care of him too.Help me Please!

Been wit my girl for 9 years.. Ive been having some trust issues/suspicion... last night I went to her house, she was acting weird, wasn't really talking... I brought up my issues I had remaining, and she wasn't really talking about it, she said, "not right now, i am feeling sick" but her feelin sick never stopped her before... I told her I didn't think she cared and left her house.. I called her back and told her why I felt like that.. I buckled and we are together again.

I said, jokingly, "I can't be sexually attracted to you, acting like that" and she said, "i'm not sexually attracted to you either" I said, "really?" and she said, "NOPE" but then said she was joking.

She said she got me a V-Day present and it's not good and she'll show me how much she don't care about me. She said she was joking as well. Finally, she brought up the fact that her friend just cheated on her b/f..

Dunno what to think???

So here's my situation; I'm in a serious relationship with a dancer at a nightclub. Whenever she is working, I always get the feeling like she is cheating on me, even though she never has. I am planning on taking our relationship to the next level, but I am worried that I will not be able to handle the stress. What can I do?

i have never told hubby he couldn't go, and i've never wanted to go, but recently for my (girl) friends bday me her and 5 guys went. i had a pretty good time. hubby was upset that i was with 5 guys, but they were just "aquatinces", now i know i'd be ticked if he went with 5 girls but is it different for girls. p.s it was a booby bar, not a willie bar.

I have been in a relationship for nearly 6 years. Recently my partner and I married and I am 23 weeks pregnant. We have the usual ups and downs like all couples. Ours are always due to my mother-in-law. She has a habit of interfering and generally running me, my family, my culture even my deceased mother, down. Due to my current state, I decided to take a stand against this, as I didn't want to have to put up with it before and after my baby was born. This has caused huge fights with the over bearing mother-in-law who is refusing to let go, and my husband is caught in between as his mother keeps calling him at work and ranting at him. He has in the past 23 weeks, walked out on me 4 times, always returning to say sorry. The whole situation is stressing me out. I know that we are better apart if he can't control his mother, but I feel that i'm punishing him for his mothers spitefulness. My husband is a good man, but his mother brings out the worst in both of us. What should I do?

She doesn't know when to let things go. She still blames me for the time she broke her arm when she was eight because I was the one who gave her the roller skates. When my sister died (in December) she said "Well, didn't you want to be an only child"!!! She has gotten on my last nerve... but I am basically her only friend and she is homeschooled and NEVER gets out of the house to hang out with teens her age. What should I do???

When February 14th Arrives,
I know what they'll do,
The couples will come in tides,
And feel sorry for me and you.

When February 14th is here,
I know what they'll say,
Cheer up, my dear,
It's Valentines Day!

There'll be cuddling and loving,
and kissing too,
they'll do it so much,
it'll make us go "Ew!"

The shops will be smushy,
lovey dovey and red,
there'll be bears and music,
there'll be so much that it wont escape your head!

So beware, beware,
that sick-making time,
when everyone, everywhere,
will be speaking in Rhyme.

No one said Love is easy and now one said life does not throw people curves - both male and female - questioning one's decisions from time to time. This creating upheaval in relationships. Does anger and abusive acts automatically imply punishment. The dynamics of relating assumes struggle now and then - not always a bed of roses and since we as a race are still trying to figure ourselves out, we are also still trying to understand the dyamics of relating - particularly long term. When the going gets tough - over a period of time - people say "divorce and move on". Isn't this a quick fix for what could turn out to be a speed bump or trouble that could last for awhile but in the long term playout favorably with dedication to the "possible end result" of a good ending in the long term? Even if it can be a one way street at times. We all become the most selfish in times of suffereing - even within a relationship. Selfishness implies some form of abusive acts towards that target.
