I feel really really ill. I have a cold, I've pulled a muscle in my hip, and I feel like I'm gonna throw up, and I generally feel down. :(

I have an old friend coming to my house today, but shes SUCH an old friend, that I barely remember her. I went to her house a few weeks ago, and it was great, but she has a massive house, and loads to do. Should I make an effort, or be quiet, because I can get away with it, being ill.

Please answer ASAP, she'll be here any minute.

Enjoy her company, be interested in her. Ask her what she might like to do. Keep it simple, but have fun, enjoy that you have someone you can call a friend.

It is the ol "Two ways you can go " situation.

On the one hand , maybe you would feel better not having to deal with the self reflection and stress. On the other, you will feel guilty more than likely if you dont . The reason being is because there are two ways pulling at you right now, as in many other situations in life. Go with the way that is the best. You know which way that is. Going the other way will make you feel much worse in the long run.

If she's a true friend, then i'm sure she won't mind you being ill. She might even help you out with a few chores.

ok..all you have to do is be honest..tell her that you are being honest(blame yourself at this for not remembering her)..and tell her that you really appreciate to get to know her much more closer..since its been awhile you two haven't meet each other..ask her how's she doing..show her your care for her..she'll appreciate how you being honest and don't care much about the problem..
