You don't say what age you are. If you are still at school try talking with your guidance teacher first and hopefully she will lead you in the right direction. If you are older you can start at another point as in Social Services or Police. I am sure both will do what they can for you. However, very first thing you must do is really THINK about it. If you get evidence the police will listen and back you but if it is as serious as you say there is no point getting the police involved if you drop the case after he has been charged. Also is your father willing to give a statement saying he is being terrorised? More or less the same with Social Services, you have to be absolutely sure of what you are doing and carry out advice given to you. Good luck.

Give him an ultimatum / a stern warning:
Say to him if he tries to do that one more time, you will phone the police, to have removed from your home. Put the fear of that into him. Let him know for sure that you will do that.
Then do precisely that if he dares to hit your dad, or you again.
You will have the right to press charges against him for causing bodily harm... (whatever...)
BEFORE that can happen:
Sit down & talk to him- listen to what he says.
Is he depressed about something?
How seriously is he depressed?
Can you help him with that?
Why is he so angry with his dad???
Explain his behaviour is abusive & totally unacceptable.
Try to get him to go to his doctor, or a health visitor, to ask for anger management & help with his emotional difficulties so that he can find better ways of coping than by turning to alcohol, which only makes everything 10 times worse.
Phone the social services to request their intervention.
Regular meetings with a youth offending team, or similar, are beneficial cos they do sort out youngster's heads, so they work out their priorities...
Does he work? If not, perhaps help him to get a job?
Would more organised activity help him?
What is on offer where you are via the sports centre, youth clubs etc?
Finally, a word of warning:
He is NOT going to change his behaviour on his own, without support & guidance.
If you love him, you will try to help him get the help he needs.
You should try to do all you can. But don't put your family in danger. If what you're doing is not working, yeh, call the police to request immediate assistance. & do that with a clear conscience.
& then if still doesn't fix-up, don't allow him back into your house.
Let him know he has chosen to destroy his life & you are not willing to allow him to destroy yours.
I know that sounds hard. But there is no other way I am aware of. I hope other people reading your question have other suggestions too!
Good luck.

For God's sake call the police before everybody in your house would get seriously beaten by your evil brother. He's a demon. Be careful and maybe you could talk to him in the morning when he's sober he maybe didn't know what he did but this isn't an excuse...

i'd watch for them to be tried and convicted previously making them in charge through be conscious. No action which incorporates that is named for, yet i'd not trust it to be real until eventually they were convicted. in the experience that they have got been convicted and that i do not recognize, then i'd declare they're only as undesirable because the terrorists they're combating. Btw: All international locations are brainwashed, come across techniques to settle for the straightforward actuality: we will not in any respect be on properly of problems with our governments.

It really depends on how old your brother is is he's under 18 then you should call social services if he's over18 then you should call the police because he shouldn't get away with hittng some one even if he is your brother
if he thinks he can get away with hitting you and your family whats saying that he hit some one else and he really did them harm

he doesnt have the right to behave like that... so have some courage and report
him to the police or any protection unit in ur area without him knowing... they
could hide in ur house and see the scene when ur bro comes home... and if i had
a brother like i would take a stick and beat him a lot to teach him a very gd lesson...

Ok, that is abuse....he could go to jail, but he is your brother and i know you probably wouldn't want to report him....but a physcologist could offer great help!!!!! TRUST ME!!!!! Both of my parents are physcologists! Ok, and maybe you should take him to a hospital or something....he doesn't seem well and he is an alcoholic, so that isn't helping much. I REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't not do anything about it! You HAVE to do something.......
