Did some one say that to you or is it some thing that you have felt for a while, Swampy, all you need to be is yourself, yes long hair is lovely, I have not had a proper hair cut for 5 years, but trust me it can be a pain blow drying, straightning, etc, etc, make up would help too, but that's just painting your face, time consuming and hideing who you are. Who do you want to be? My eldest daughter is a real girlie girl, 13 going on 30, wants to wear make up to school, drools over boys all the typical things, yet my baby girl is 6 years old and happiest when dressed up as Spider Man, Bat Man, and Super Man, she turned 6 on the 7th of February this year, like a week ago, I bought her a double bed, a bright hot pink Super GIRL doona, and Super girl posters for her walls, she loves it, yet on Christmas Day I had to pay her $5.00 to wear a pink dress ~ go figure, swampy be yourself and be proud of who you are, if you feel the need to accentuate your femininity go for the natural look, don't plaster the make up on, just enhance your natural beauty, neutral colors, browns and bronze, a bit of light brown lip gloss, some masscara to enhance your eyes, try growing your nails, again use a neutral nail polish....MOST IMPORTANTLY DO THIS FOR YOURSELF IF YOU THINK YOU NEED IT !!!!! not just because of other people, the most attractive thing in all the world for a woman / girl / teen ager...is a smile, it will brighten your entire face and it feels good too, change from Swampy to Swan Princess, and never forget to be true to yourself, good luck, Yvette B
