Why bother dating someone in High School when they just break up with you anyways?

It's fun to make out! Plus you get lots of experience and know more things to talk about. The first time a guy asks a girl is always the hardest. Later, it becomes easier. You also learn a lot of skills like french-kissing and yadayada.
Guys also learn not to forget special days like "V-Day", anniversary and other stuff.
O yeah! I know everyone wants to be loved and cared about by someone else. Makes you feel good inside !

Every boyfriend you have in high school shows you something that you need or want in a relationship so that by the time you get old enough and ready for a serious relationship you know what you are looking for.

Well...for most of the same reasons adults date, except sometimes adults are looking for their soulmate, but most teens just meet someone they are attracted too, not someone who they want to marry. I date because...
1. it is FUN!
2. I like being with people, i am social
3. I like spending time with the guy i like
4. WHY NOT?!?!??!?

It gives us a chance to figure out what we want in our future spouse. If we didn't know what we wanted, we would finally get out of college at 25 and have to go through all of this, and get married at like 35!!!! And it gives us practice talking to people of the opposite sex and getting to know them better. It has nothing to do w/ making out and stuff, that is new.

Well, we do fall in love. Dating is really to get to know each other better and see if we want to speend the rest of our lives together. Sometimes it doesn't work out, but you never know, we might get luck and find the right one early in life.

hey i am married to my high school sweetheart. we have been together for 14 years total now. when you start to date in high school you find out what things you do and do not want in your future spouse.
