My mom has been with her husband for 10 years. About every other month for the entire 10 years relationship one of them has threatened divorce. Now (for the 7 millionth time) they have once again decided to get a divorce. A couple of days ago I talked to my mom and told her that I am not her marriage councelor and I she should not talk to me about her marital problems. She dealt with it great at first and didn't have her normal poor me attitude. This morning before I went to work I called her and she talked to me about her marital problems again, saying that she needs to talk to me about what is going on in her life and totally had the poor-me attitude. What should I/she do?

Does she like me?Me and my fren (girl) have been very close. I once told her my feelings. And since then, we've really came to a stage where we were more than friends(but not couples). She is 1 year older than me and therefore moving overseas to study. B4 she left, i asked her out just to meet up but she said she will contact me later since she was bz with Xmas. But since Christmas Eve, i have not seen her or even heard a word from her. She has left somewhere else to study..., i sent her a mail and i even called her on new year asking her to come down from her home. But i couldnt get thru to her phone. Unfortunately, i still have not heard a word from her till last month when she sent me a mail. It was abt her life overseas. She said she may reply me late but somehow she will find time, so she asked me to keep emailing her. I dont know if i shud ask her about the outing we were supposed to go and i dont know if i shud reply her b/c of wat happened( the outing and not talking to me

Would you think this person is cheating with these facts:
My spouse is married with children one mine one theirs
Found some old best friends from teenage years
One was an ex that was hurt by my spouse
Hangs out with them till am hours ignoring phone calls on a
couple occasions
Got drunk with them
I showed displeasure, spouse did it again
Erases texts and call logs from person (says cause they know it
would bother me if I saw them)
Won't continue IM conversations with me around
Sent picture of self to said person on phone (just a nice pose
nothing sexual)
My spouse says nothing is going on. I love my spouse and am very hurt by this, but be honest and I kept our sexes out on purpose because I think standards should apply both ways.

If i been suspecting my girl is cheating on me.. well last night she goes, "my best friend just cheated on her b/f.. i was so surprised..." I told my girl that her friend needed to tell her boyfriend, and my girl said, "she eventually will.."

My whole thing is.. my girl has been hiding text messages, calls, and emails from me from a particular guy trying to help her get on a pd. Is it possible this is a cover-up, saying her friend cheated, when my girl was the one who REALLY cheated? Just to see what I would say?

Theres this man i know and i think he's flirting with me. if he says something funny and i laugh he laughs too and it's like we take it in turns at laughing. He always says hi to me.If i make fun of him in some way he laughs with me and tells me that was a pretty smart thing to say or if i have a good comeback for something he compliments me. He sticks to his word.if he says he will do something nice for me he will do it.He doesn't talk ****. And in the beginning i got heaps of eye contact but lately i find he doesn't even look at me sometimes and he usually tries to talk to me about the weather and he will sometimes come from wherever he is and start talking to me.what do you think.I think it's pretty obvious but i need some reassurance or other opinions.thanks

My boyfriend (whom I live with) is gone away for a few weeks with work and I'm missing him awfully. The problem is that he's getting on with things, being busy, etc, whereas I'm at home missing him. During the summer I was away for a month with work and he was at home, so it was like a role reversal. He's pretty much said that he felt bad when I was away but is fine now he's away. Anytime I'm on the phone with him I'm all out of sorts and he's all excited about work and being away, it's almost like he hasn't got time to miss me. This is putting a bit of a strain on things because I feel a little lost and left behind. I know this is negative thinking, but unfortunately I can't do anything to stop it. If it continues I know it'll become a chore to talk to me on the phone an I don't want that, I don't want every conversation to turn into one with me being sullen and down in the dumps. Any advice?

Over the years I have nothing but heart and headache trying to be close to my parents. I have done everything, went into the military, put myself through school, and have tried to be successful, with little to no help from them. Now I am married, and when I am expect congregulations, I get nothing.

This just hurts me. I don't really want my wife to met my parents. I was married overseas. Truth is my wife and I don't know if we want to stay here in the US, or move and stay in Israel.

Just to describe my parents, my dad is my step dad. I have an older brother, a half sister, and four adopted brothers and sisters.

My wife doesn't want to met them because she feels they are mean. I am at a loss.

My work is associated with east African countries, mostly Kenya and Ethiopia.
I just got back from Ethiopia with the weirdest encounter of my life, which changed my previous sympathy for the country.
It all started with me and my co-worker as we visited the Lake Tana that’s the origin of Nile River in Ethiopia. There on the lake were these poor Ethiopians trying to fish while we sow one man dropping bunch of fishes, crabs, shrimps and lobsters, etc..back to the lake, I asked him why he was doing that, he looked at me with surprise and asked with broken English what else he could do with them. I told him why couldn’t he eat them or give them to other people, he shouted out, how people could eat such things and left immediately. We were both so surprise, imagine how shrimps and crabs can’t be eaten and the weird part is, they are Ethiopians always suffering with hunger and famine.
After we encounter this we tried to show to the local people how to eat, shrimps, crabs and different kinds of fish as they only eat one type of fish , we cooked and tried to give them to taste, some of them were actually vomiting for just watching us eat and none of them dare to try, my friend was laughing at their stupidity but I was actually offended and the worst part is not just sea foods that they don’t know how to eat, we found out there are many types vegetables that they don’t know how to eat specially mushroom they call it “ umbrella of hyena” and children play with is everywhere on the street , but no one use them as food, my general encounter is that poverty is both mental and physical in Ethiopia and they are the poorest and the most proudest people I have ever seen.
Can you imagine, they think eating pork is disobeying God?
Anyway Kenya is relatively better, actually they are growing economically better than Ethiopians, and they know mushrooms, sea foods and pork are for food. My friend and I now working on project to teach Ethiopians what to eat hopefully we can get somewhere, anyone who read this can give me idea to include in the project

My daughter likes a boy in her class, but she doesn't want to tell him. Then there is a kid that ask if she and the kid like each other, my daughter says nothing and the boy smiles and says no. Then another girl says they are love birds. They're only in 5th grade. I want to help my daughter, but I don't know how I can help. when we went to india last visit every body like relatives were asking my husband u went to US 8 yrs back still u did not buy the house.so he felt bad and after comming back he bought a house but he just had 5000 dollars to do downpayment so he took loans from so many banks and made around 30000 and bought a house so still managing to send some moneyto his sister.he always scold me saying go to work and just pay me rent to stay here.he always says u r eating mine etc one day i was so mad ijust told him u give somuch money to your sister and u ask mr the rent heaid its my wish i will give to my sis but not even a penny to u.last month i asked him to give me 400 dollards so that i will take testing classe so that i can also earn he said i will not give u, i sware i did not asked him one day why he sends money to her.but he always says i am with him just for money itseams i never saw 10 dollards from him but says like that.now its little tight for money as he is paying mortgage .
