Wedding band. You should wear your engagement ring on your right hand on your wedding day so your wedding band can get put on first. Then the enagement ring goes on top. That's why you get ring sets and the engagement ring always fits on top!

The engagement ring should go on first and then the wedding ring but this is not always practical when doing housework etc as the engagement ring could get damaged. The tradition is never to take the rings off your finger once they're on, so therefore, the engagement one would be already on your hand when the wedding one goes on.

In UK although most people have their engagement ring first after they are married the wedding band goes on first, then the engagement ring. Need to be careful with it until after the marriage ceremony. If it doesn't fit on another finger during the service you must give it to someone you can really trust not to loose it.

The wedding band is first - it's meant to be the closest one to your heart. The day of your ceremony, move your engagement ring to the other hand and after the wedding band is in place, move your engagement ring back over.

The so called correct way is to wear the wedding band first followed by the engagement ring... this is so that the wedding band is closer to her heart.
I personally think that you get the engagement ring first so you wear it with the wedding band on the outter part.
Honestly.. it is a thing of choice... to each their own.

I wear my wedding band first, then my engagment ring on the outside. I've always heard that the wedding band goes first because it goes closest to your heart. This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say otherwise.
