My Dad just passed away ,do I buy her a gift from him ? are will this make her sad .I dont know what to do .

Get her something from YOU. If you say it is from him it will hurt her. I know you want to make her feel a little better today but don't do anything like that in your dads name. She has to get through this day without him and that won't help. Be there for her and maybe encourage her to tell you some stories of their past valentines day together. My best wishes to you both.

I think you should buy her a gift from you.

It will show her that you are thinking of her on a day that was obviously special to her and your father.

It will also start a new tradition for you both.

Give her a nice bouquet of flowers and a hand made card.

Mothers value sentimental things..its the thought that counts.

I would just get her a card from you and spend a lunch with her or something to remind her she is thought of still.

My husband was in the same situation last valentines day and his mom really appreciated being remembered on valentines day . you defintely should give her something....
