Ye, no one is above the law in theory, but not in practice. Some are more citizens than others.

I do not think, though, running away is the solution. They will catch you again and put you in jail for two more crimes.

You better join forces with others, such as NGOs, and fight the injusticies.

All the best!/

There are definitley some people on earth who are above the law, generally these people know who they are.I am in a situation also where this other person has literally gotten away with a ton of stuff after every law agency was previously informed and noone has done a thing to him,and he continues to con to this day ,makes a laughing stock of our judicial system and of other innocent people, but I know If I was to do the stuff he has I would be in jail the rest of my life, besides politicians like I saw here, there are also other people too but I swear I think they have emotional and mental issues and usually pathological liars who tell themselves and those around them of their good luck, and fortune even though they stole it all or used and hurt other people and filed bankruptcy on 375.000 never works either cause fakes disability and they pay him too besides all the insurances he took out before his little slip and fall,he has committed physical abuse and walked right out of the court room, its disgusting but guess what Noone cares.

That's first answer is completely wrong. NO ONE is above the law, not even politician, higher ranking officers in the military, NO ONE is above it.

In my opinion, if you have enough money you could probably buy your way out. Seems to work in the movies. I want you to know that I do know the difference in reality and the movies. They had to get the idea somewhere.
