my hubby doesnt do anythin to make me feel special.he doesnt call me himself.send me cards.makes me wait online for him for hours.i have cried so many times and told him that all i need is his attentiona nd care.he promise me everytimea nd then breaks it.he is working in another country.and i'll b going there after 8 months.but im not at all excited coz of him being so careless.if im tellin him somethin he'll just start making fun of it.he never takes anythin seriously.today on valentines day i kept calling him and he todl me hez tired then he told me that this day is declared by shopkeepers to increase their sale:(i was hurt coz cant he just express his love widout hurtin em for once.i feel as if im the only 1 in love.i feel so sad now:(then he blames me for being sensitive and all.is it rong if a wife wants her hubby to give her attention.who shud i tur to for love and care if hes not ready to give it to me:(

Oh honey, your question just breaks my heart! I'm so sorry to hear that you are treated so badly! NO ONE deserves that. I know this may not be what you want to hear, but you need to get out of the situation you are in. Get divorced sweetie, and then give yourself some time to heal and become whole. Then you will be ready to find a real man that knows how to show affection and to appreciate a loving woman. They do exist, I promise! If you are religious, (and even if you're not), pray and ask God to help you. He will comfort you.

I am sad for you that you feel you need a guy like that to "make you feel special".
He doesn't do anything special for you because he doesn't have to. In spite of what you say, there must be something that you do that sends a message that is clear to him that he doesn't have to make any effort to consider your feelings.
You meet HIS needs to the point where he doesn't have to do anything to meet yours.
When you show up at his side in 8 months & he hasn't changed by then, you will only serve to reinforce his current behaviour.
Remember, YOU teach people how to treat you. :-)

Why did you marry this man. You can't tell me he was a romantic before, and now hes changed,and if you can say he has, than I'd think twice before making a major move. The man you love isn't a sensitive romantic, but you should have known it away before now. So if your trying to change him forget about it.

You should go to a book store and buy a book on this topic. Or find a hobbie to keep your thoughts elsewhere, while your husband is far away. Boardom leads to our minds thinking carelessly.

some people don't know how to express their emotions. Like me i can tell my husband the way i feel about him kiss touch or hug him anytime but he wont take me by surprise like i do. So don't take it too serious maybe its his nature. I know it hurts but take it easy as long as you know that he really loves you.
