My parents got divorced right after i was born and i am 26 years old now. I have a sister that is 7 years older then me. While growing up with just our mom my dad was always there for financial support. Not much emotional support, but we never went with out. We would spend summers with him and go on the road with him, but he was not around because he is an insurance adjuster and he was on the road all of the time. My sister was close to my dad until she got married and moved to Texas. She has 3 kids and they all come down all the time to visit my mom but she never visits my dad and he is 45 minutes away from my mom. This hurts my dad big time. Every time i try to mend the relationship between my sister and my dad my mom and sister bite my head off saying there are things that i don't understand.i want them to get along so what should i do. How can i get them to reconnect or should i just stay out of it.He is 70 with health probs and i am scared he will die and she will regret it

My older sister is 20 and I am 18 but she is such a cow, because
she winds me up then starts having a go at me because of something or another. She blames me because I have to make our horses feeds up AND clean the shed at the same time, at high speed of course, because she has such a busy life style. Also If something goes wrong, SHE's not to blame. She also borrows money but it takes her ages to pay anyone back. And If I ask her for money, She says she hasn't got anything or she blackmails you with it.

When I try to stand up to her, I have been threatened and once, hit in the face. I have younger sisters too and if she picks on one of us, the two youngest gang up with her.

I know I might sound over the top but that is what she is like.

My sister in law is getting married in June, they just got engaged in November. They live about 150 miles away from her home town (where they will be getting married). Her Bridesmaid is having a bridal shower AND a bachelorettes party and her future sister in law is having a shower where they live for family that can't make it to the wedding. My mother in law has now insisted that I also have a shower for her. This seems a bit greedy to me, any thoughts on what I should tell them? It is already February and her other showers/parties are in April and May (2), which of course I have not been invited to. I feel that 3 shower/parties are already enough, please help!

There is this girl I like but i'm really shy and the only times we have ever talked is when she said my name twice two different times. I responded what? like she wanted to say something, but she said nothing. Both of us are quiet and shy. Once I also caught her staring at me in class and when i turned she looked away. I want to get to know her better and probably before valentines day. Besides that one class and one day after school in a club we hardly see each other. What should I say to her I hardly know what she likes how should i start a conversation. Because I think she is thinking the same thing I am and we are each waiting for the other to talk.

I often see very ugly guys in the malls holding hands with very pretty girls. The pretty girl herself has a very bad attitude. What do you think the guy likes about her and vice versa?

Ladies, why do I feel as if my lady friend, hoping she will be more, is taking so long to call me back? I called her about three times in the last two day and I still have not heard. Is she just not interested in me. Am I being paranoid. We have known each other for about three months and have dated about a month for your information.
I really would like your opinions. I really like her.

I've tried everything from A-Z to get over my Ex girlfriend, Tried cutting off all ties, tried saying some mean things to her so that she would feel differently about me but nothing works, We broke up about a year and a half ago but still remained friends, but I still Love her and want to be with her, but now she's with someone else.

And because of this I told her I can't be apart of her life anymore and that we should cut off all ties because it's too hard for me, and at first everything was okay but i still thought about her then she'll either call me or text me, it's like she has a hard time letting go too, she's back with the guy she dated before me, they only broke up because he moved away but now he's back, she says she's happy with him and everything, but she knows how I feel about her and that I can't be apart of her life if she's with someone else, does it sound like she still has feelins for me or is it she just can't handle us not speakin to each other(10 points best A.)

I've been married about a year, we dont have kids yet, I will be 30 soon. My partner isn't very good with money, he is very childish when it comes to simple things like paying bills on time. He has many hobbies which can be expensive and when something comes up, its all about instant gratification. I see older women who are in my situation and they look so tired, women who are always the ones comprimising because the husband wont (I'm sure that there are men going through the same thing)...

I am asking, should our goals and dreams be the same? So many people divorce because of money...would it be wise to think about leaving if I don't think that he will change? We do love each other, but I am really practicle, while he isn't.

I realize no one can tell me what to do, but if you have been in a situation like mine?!...

I have just been diagnosed with a life threatening genetic disease that typically kills off people in their early thirties (im 29) and the pathetic thing is that I have nobody to tell, apart from you wonderful people - no family, no close friends or partner. Lol. You just have laugh at these things. Rapists and murderers have a better social network than me. I am beginning to wonder what went wrong.

I have been completely financially supporting my mother for four years now. She is not disabled or anything. I allow her to live in my house (I let her have the master bedroom-I sleep on the couch when I'm there) and pay nothing. I pay all bills, services, and food. In return she watches and homeschools my 12 year old and now watches my baby boy while my hubby and I are at work. (My hubby and I have not combined houses yet as we are recently married and that's another story..)
It has worked pretty well but recently she has started testing my nerves. She acts annoyed when I'm around and keeps asking me when I'm going out. If my brother has been there, she goes on for an hour about how he brought them something special from Whole Foods market. But not once in all this time has she ever said "Thanks" to me. I say thanks all the time to her for watching the kids and let her know I appreciate it. I could just stay at home and move my husband in with me and combine houses..

When I went to sleep last night I was laying next to my husband is our nice beautiful king sized bed. When I woke up this morning I felt very strange. All of my clothes were off and my body was being massaged by cold hands that didn't feel like my husband's. When I turned over to see what was going on my father in law was the one who was in bed with me!! He was massaging my naked body and he was naked as well. What makes it even worst is that my husband was standing over in the corner video taping the entire incident. I was mortified. I slapped my father in law, covered my naked body and demanded to know what was going on. My father in law told me that I looked so peaceful resting, that he wanted to give me a massage to make sure I was even more relaxed. I started yelling and screaming and demanded that they both get out of the house. My husband told me that I was acting like a fool. He said that this is normal behavior and that fathers and son's do this all the time????

This boy keeps looking at me but when my friend asked him if he liked me he said, No! Does it mean he really doesn't like me or he's just afriad of admiting it infront of his peers?

I have this friend and to me, I consider us best friends, but idk if my friend considers the friendship in the same way. I mean, we're almost inseperable and are basically like brothers, in my view, but we've never actually discussed it. How do I find out where he stands in the friendship? Also, recently I feel as though I'm losing this friend to another of my friends, but I don't want to bring the issue up because I don't want to start any drama. How can I resolve this?

Would you prefer to live on the bottom, middle or top of an apartment complex? I live on bottom right now and the people above us have a small child and is contantly running all hours of the day and night. My boyfriend spoke to them and they said they would keep it down but didn't. So my b/f talked to the landlord and basically he said he couldn't do anything about that but if it was loud music or something he could. So.....he suggested moving to the very top apt. I DO NOT want to move for two reasons: one we JUST moved in last week and just now have everything already unpacked and pics hung up and two we will have to move everything up 3 flights of stairs. Plus I wonder what if there are people on either sides of us who are loud. I don't want to but my b/f does...what do I do????? Please help ASAP.

You and your significant others relationship has been on the rocks for a couple weeks (because of something you did). All of a sudden he/she is spending all of their time at school (junior college). We’re talking 12 hour days during the week up until 8:00pm and even going up there on Sundays. You question them about all the time they are spending at the school and they tell you it’s because they have a lot of work to do. They go on to say they have so much work, you may not get to see them for another week.

You talk them into coming over this coming up Friday. They tell you it will have to be after 8:30pm b/c they will be at the learning lab getting help with their Chemistry homework. You happen to know that the learning lab closes at 1pm on Friday, so there is no way that’s where they will really be.

My question is this; do you wait until Friday night when they show up after pretending to be someone they weren’t to confront them about it, or do you confront them right away?
