My sisters getting married in May, and she doesnt want a bachelorette party, but she wants a wedding shower. She doesnt want any cheesy games, and as I have never been to a shower I dont know what to do. Her fiance is going to be there, as well as other guys, so she doesnt want any thing too girly.

Since it is a code ed bridal shower, do the colors of the wedding. Have food and cake and drinks. Maybe even make it a BBQ. Plan it on a Saturday so people can com or even make it like a tropical theme. Put lots of lights outside, and lots of tropical colors. It just depends, you need to find out what you sister likes, then go from there. Make it more of a gathering we family and friends can celebrate those two getting married.

A Wedding Shower that have both sexes it could be a lot of fun!! You can have a theme party. Like I went to a shower and the theme was Single Life R.I.P and they had these coffins made and each person had to present something that they will have to buried to have a successful relationship and bury the item and then present a gift that exemplified what they will need to have successful marriage and after all the gifts were presented the couple had shovels and buried the coffin( just shovel some dirt on it) It was fun!!! The gifts got very creative and there were no games at all!! (gift example: you need to bury your little black book and pick up the karma sutra book)

Usually at a shower, the gifts are opened and passed around for all to see, then light refreshments are served, games are played, prizes given, laughs all around. Then the ladies make small talk, the crowd starts to peter off, and it's over.

It's a shame she doesn't want a traditional shower-they're lots of fun.

Look for the game pervartistry. Its fun and not girly at all. Its also good for big groups. Its like pictionary but with a little sexy twist.
