There is this girl I like but i'm really shy and the only times we have ever talked is when she said my name twice two different times. I responded what? like she wanted to say something, but she said nothing. Both of us are quiet and shy. Once I also caught her staring at me in class and when i turned she looked away. I want to get to know her better and probably before valentines day. Besides that one class and one day after school in a club we hardly see each other. What should I say to her I hardly know what she likes how should i start a conversation. Because I think she is thinking the same thing I am and we are each waiting for the other to talk.

You answered your own question. Think about it. If you both like each other and by what you say that is evident. If she likes you she wants you to say they same thing that she wants to say to you. Right now she's probably thinking of a way to approach you or how to strike up a conversation with you. She's going through the same thing you are. YOU have to make the first move. YOU have to approach her. I know it's hard but just try practicing at home in front of the mirror. Practice coming up to her and just telling her how you feel about her. A women loves honesty, believe me. Just remember don't mumble or beat around the bush. Know what you want to say and then say it. Women also love confidence. You never know. Keep it simple. The next time you are alone with her ask her if she is seeing someone else while maintaining direct eye contact. If she answers in the negative ask if she'd like to go out with you. If she said she would then make plans for the following saturday night, pick a specific date and time, and it's up to you to plan a fun evening. You'll both have a chance to get comfortable being around each other and you'll forget you're actually very shy. It sounds like you may be good together. Go for it!

Just say halo,good morning,etc maybe she will reply and start a new conversation,or if u have a project, ask her to be your partner. You could also ask any question to her then you will start a conversation.

catch her for a conversation at the right time. be gentle.and try to stick to a nice topic. don't talk about bugs and guts unless you know she likes that type of stuff.
