I have a person in my garage apt. who was told to sign a lease agreement or vacate. There was otherwise no landlord-tenant relationship involved. Instead, his wife accused me of hitting on her. She also has stated that I only want to force him out of the garage apt. so I can then be free to pursue a relationship with her. She made both accusations to two different people at two different times.

I am married to this woman's mother; she is my step-daughter. Both statements are completely without merit. Since this happened this past Sunday, I cannot sleep, my appetite is affected, and worst of all...my wife now believes HER and our marriage is in jeopardy.

Can I bring a civil suit against my step-daughter for defamation of character? Georgia laws apply.

I would like to get my husband an awesome bath robe for Valentine's Day. Would any of you have any good suggestions on what type of material is best and or where to get one? I'm not sure how the sizes are in robes but my husband shops big and tall so I suppose that's what I need. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ive been with my fiancee 2 year this july, when in fact the 2nd anniversary is when we are getting married.

On the odd occasion we argue about silly things, today because I was busy at work I snapped at him by accident and he did not talk to me all day, I got home this evening, and apologies for it.....

He wont forgive me and when I have tried to talk to him he tells me to go away and does not want me to speak to him. I have spoken to one of his friends from work who just says to leave him be, but Im getting myself really upset and crying all the time....

Would you prefer to live on the bottom, middle or top of an apartment complex? I live on bottom right now and the people above us have a small child and is contantly running all hours of the day and night. My boyfriend spoke to them and they said they would keep it down but didn't. So my b/f talked to the landlord and basically he said he couldn't do anything about that but if it was loud music or something he could. So.....he suggested moving to the very top apt. I DO NOT want to move for two reasons: one we JUST moved in last week and just now have everything already unpacked and pics hung up and two we will have to move everything up 3 flights of stairs. Plus I wonder what if there are people on either sides of us who are loud. I don't want to but my b/f does...what do I do????? Please help ASAP.

So, basically I moved out last september because my mom is an alcoholic and my dad is emotionally abusive to my family because of it. yeah i have kind of a dysfunctional family. but anyway, i love my mom to death despite what she does, and that she wont get help, but i couldnt take it anymore. i have a good job, and started working 2 jobs to pay the bills.When i moved out, my dad let me take 1 of his 5 cars, and i told him i wanted to buy it, and that id make payments on it. The problem is, the car is a piece of ****. its a 89 ford mustang convertible, and has so many problems i couldnt list them. i did get in a car accident in it, but it was minor. the headlight on the driver's side is messed up, but im going to replace it. I dont have the money to invest in something that wont last long. he wants 1200 for it, but idont want to anymore. im so confused and dont want to make hm upset, but my parents have ALOT of money, thats not the problem.. I just reallydont want him to be mad at me..

I;m soo bored all the time. I am an only child and i am 14. I have friends but they can never do anything. I walk my dog around the block for EVER. My parents work. My mom has a day care in our house and she is always busy. I'm sooo bored. None of my computer games will load. Went on a cruise without you? We have been together for almost 5 years and it's been great, but all the sudden he wants to go on a cruise with some friends (that are shady) and my work will not alow me to take that much time off or else I would go. It's great to forgive loved ones that have hurt us, reconcile and move on. But the best way to move on is to remove ourselves from future situations that may cause us harm again. e.g. I am hurt by someone and so I'm trying to forgive but ultimately I am trying to minimze any future interaction w/this person. This is realistically the best approach. Agree?
