because they listen to what the Bible says and it says "do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers..." which simply means don't marry someone of a different faith....

If you are a devout Christian and he is a devout Muslim, then it would be very difficult because you believe very different things. Also, the Bible does say in 2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers...Now, if you really don't care and don't think that it would be a problem between you and choose to disreguard what the Bible has to say about this, then you are going to do what you want to no matter what. I say pray about it, and do whatever you think God is leading you to do. If you believe God is telling you to go through with it, it shouldn't matter what anyone says. God says that we will endure persecution just as he did, and that's what comes when we do something for the glory of God that others don't agree with.
Hope it helped,
Christi

If we would be able to forget a little bit about religion, then there would still be a World Trade Center in New York, the Twin Towers would still be standing, and almost 3000 people wouldn;t have died on that Tuesday Morning. Lets not say anything about the soldiers and the civilians that keep on dying every day...
Should I keep saying anything else? Forget about stupid religions (no ofense, but I think you all get my point) and go ahead and do what your heart tells you.

In the US they can marry legally (civil marriage).. but the church may refuse to do the ceremony.. religious tradition dictates that someone of a different religion "convert" .. that even goes into jewish Xtian and muslim etc.. tradition wise even a presbeteryn should convert to catholic before a priest would marry them... Churchs do have the right to refuse to marry people BTW.. and difference of religion is one of the reasons they can use...totally legal...

I think they Christians and Muslims can marry, although not in a church. I'm not a 100% sure though.
Best regards!

It's not against the Biblical law to marry outside Christianity (or Islam, as far as I know). However, if someone's religion is important to them and dictates their decisions, goals, and daily life--then of course they are going to want a spouse who is on the same page. Plus, on a more spiritual level, marriage binds you together as one. The idea is to grow together spiritually towards God. If you both have different road maps, it's going to be frustrating to try to travel together.

Because your marriage will be nothing but a disaster, yeah, you might be happy in the beginning but will NOT last. Go find yourself a christian man, there's plenty of them out there who will make you happy.

They can. No one will kill the christian girl for marrying a Muslim male. It is all about preference.

It was my understanding that she could.
A Muslim man can take a woman of any faith as his wife, but a Muslim woman must marry a Muslim man. That is my understanding of Islamic marriage laws.

Being a human we have "free will" to choose our own lives course. Hiding behind religion is only an excuse, the real answer is being hidden.
