How far did you live from your parents when you were single?

About 50 odd miles, I moved from a rural place to a big town, and so was about a 45 min train journey away, that was good, close enough to visit, but far enough away to live my own life.

I moved into the city when I was 17, so about a 35 min. drive away from the parents.....

about 5 miles. This was probibly a bad idea though. I guess it depends on your relationship with your parents and yourself.
