Recently my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years and I decided to go on a break (her decision) because she didn't know if she felt the same about me. We have been on this break for about a month now. Some background info, we went to college together, after i graduated, we maintained a long distance relationship for about 5 months. Now she has graduated,and moved and we are even further apart. There are many other factors that play into the situation as well, but I am still very confused about it all. She tells me that she still loves me but that she needs some space to be alone. She also hasn't ruled out the possibility of seeing other people. To make matters even more confusing, I called her last week and she told me that she couldn't stop thinking about me and how she thinks that she wants to get back together eventually. I am confused and very upset by this whole situation. I can't picture being with anyone else. I don't want this break but she does, what do I do?

it started off about a year ago. He is normally a very understanding loving person. But now whenever we fall out about anything he immediately becomes verbally foul and lies. Some of the things he has said are so untrue and hurtful that I cannot just let it go anymore. He also does it to my daughter whom is not his,and is 16 years old, from a previous relationship. I truly think that there is some kind of mental problem. We have been together for 8 years now and the last year has just been one row after another. I dont think that I can forgive him all the time. His language is awful and I have a 6 year old daughter as well. He used to be such a wonderful man . I feel so hurt from all the awful things he says that are made up lies. I really dont know what to do.

When we first met she was a fun, energetic, hot woman. Now she is a fat disgusting pig. I swear I can hear her getting fatter. Sometimes I just feel like handcuffing her to a treadmill. How do I break up with her, Its hard because we own a house. But I can barely afford mortgage with with her food salary a week. My bf is a mechanic and you know what they say how mechanics make good money right. But it just seem that he can't save for S***. I am not working right now and he would give his grandma and me money every time he get pay but when he give me money a few days later he turns right back around and ask me to buy him something. That makes me very upset because I am not working I could see if I was working you know, just spend a little. I am supposed to be paying off bills and he asking me for money because he done finished his money or gave his grandma the rest of his money. Then he gets upset when I have an attitude. This is a very big turn off to me and I feel i shouldn't be with him anymore, but I have no one else.
He constantly ask me to get him something like I am working when I am not. I have no job, no money in my bank account, going in debt, and he's asking me for money, and etc. Then he tells me to believe in him and we will get through this,

What is unreasonable behaviour ? What would make you say ' i have had enough! Goodbye !' Does it have to be as serious as abuse or cheating even, or can it be down to the person not meeting your emotional needs ?

What is normal for me to expect from the person you are supposed to marry ? For example, respect...You may have guessed it - i dont feel respected.

I have been living with a man whom I dearly love and cherish for the past ten months, as well as with my teenaged daughter. My man is wonderful to me in every single way and I love him with all of my heart. The problem is this.........

He has PTSD as he is a Vietnam veteran. He worked out almost every issue while in treatment for 15 years, except that he needs a lot of solitude and quiet and little drama to maintain his equilibrium. He is retired now and works on projects during the day while I am at work, but my daughter comes home from school at 2:30 and starts with her teenaged problems (clothes, boys, school, etc...)

She is a typical teenaged girl who dresses in jeans and band T-shirts and wears dark eyeliner and black nail polish. Her interests right now include MySpace, her friends and rock groups period. I understand that this is just a phase and she will grow out of it, but her teenaged issues as far a sex and boys and how she dresses are major stressors (more)

i've been having some problems with my bf. one day i saw an email on his hotmail address and it was a girl saying: ohh i can't believe u called i love you u sooo much i will leave any guy just to be with u, u don't need to be with ur girlfriend, have a great weekend and call me again. well thats just the short story. so i asked him if that was true, he said no. that he didn't call anyone at all. ok i just ignored, so one day i see a napkin with a number, i called that number and it was a girl that i meat in a runaway competition, she was one of "his friends" if u know what i mean. he said he didn't know where that napkin came from. ok whatever ignored that. ok so we were broken up, and we gave it a shoot again. but yesterday, i saw an email from the same girl before saying: ur orkut is --- and ur password is---, our msn together is --- and the password is---. man he had a msn just to talk to her, an orkut wich i didnt know about it, just with her. and he said he didnt know about it!!!!

a few months ago I met the most amazing man and he's black. He is so kind, honest, generous, handsome man I've ever met. We've been nothing more than friends but recently it's taken a turn...I do not see him as black, only as a wonderful person. I'm worried about about what others will think and do about it.
