im from wichta ks and i just recently moved to tampa fl and i go to college here and we have a new girl in our class and she is from wichita ks to but she has a strong accent. and i dont know .
why is that?

And the chances are you do have an accent and just that you don't notice it. Go on holiday to, for example, the U.K. and you'll find every single person knows immediately that you are American from your accent, and most likely to them it will sound strong.

she probably came from a different area and then moved to wichita.
