she thinks im forcing her daughter to go back to work after having our baby.
My son is 4 months old, things are a little tight where money is concerned, because my partners maternity allowance is due to be stopped, so it has been decided between us that shes going to look for a part time job.
I offered to get a part time job myself, aswell as my full time job, but my partner said its not fair on either of us, because she looks after the baby all day, and if i was to get a part time job as a barman, which is the job i would get, then i wouldnt get to be with my son very much, and also my partner wouldnt get any time to herself.
so anyway..
theres been a history of hostility towards me from the mother-in-law, after i confronted her about taking my son out in her car when she hadnt put his seatbelt on, and i was definatley polite, but she still kicked off.
So she will be reporting me for not supporting my family, although my partner and son has never gone without.
Please advise!!!

I met this guy in the summer, I feel madly in love with him, trust me this was the real thing! I'm 28 and know when I'm in love ... anyway, we sort of on and off got it on, got it off! haha, but neither of us really told each other how we felt, it went on like this, and games were played etc. I ended up being a total idiot one night and ruined everything, but in fairness he wasn't being so nice to me ... I tried to apologise but he just ignored me, I have'nt seen him for months but think about him every minute of every day, it's clear that's it's over and I've tried everything to get my mind off him, but I can't .... IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY ... Please help?

We have been together for 6 yrs now. Still i'm not happy wit him, if i do anything wrong he would beat me.and when he's in the wrong he'll jus pretend nothing happen n the best part i have to SHUT UP! When you have already filled out your childs birth cert and you gave your child his father surname(parents are not married) can you still change it with out father consent? or put your name on child as wel lik a double bar name. the child is a year old and the plan eas we would eventually get married but doesnt seem that way now. as i am the mother and he has his father surname does that mean he has all the right if we ever spilt up?

My ex and I haven't seen each other for a year but we have been in touch. I told him a few days ago I would probably go to france for work for a week and he offered to buy me dinner in france ( He is now working in Scotland). Was he just trying to be nice to me by offering to fly to Paris to just buy me dinner?

The other day he told me he was eating something at dinner with his friends ( some food we both liked) and the food made him think of me.

A month ago he told me he was stressed and I said maybe you need a vacation. He then asked if i would meet him up if he went.

Does he still like me ?

Back in 2002, I had a relationship with a girl, that last only few months because I moved overseas. We keep in contact by phone, e-mail, and sms. Although I know there is no chance for us, I still felt so much in love with her, and I believed she also. Few times we talked about BF/GF, she always said she has no BF. I still loved her so much until around mid 2006, when I knew a girl. 2 months back I went steady with her, and I told my ex about it. Then yesterday my ex told me that actually she has a BF since 2003. She will never say why she did not tell me. I feel cheated. Meaning for almost 3 years I love her sooo deeply, but actually she has someone there. I know technically she is not obliged to tell me about her BF, but I still feel hurt. Question:
1) Is it normal for me to feel cheated and hurt? Mind you that I love her no more, and my current GF is way better than her, and I love my GF very much
2) Is what my ex did to me 'right' or 'wrong'? Will u do teh same to your ex?
