Knowing they can get you to do things for the love you have for them. This guy is in irac we were in love yrs ago and he calls me. I was honest to him about my life now and he continues to lie to me. I do anything for him but i am sick of feeling used and he says he loves me.

You are too kind for your own good. You need to put up some boundaries to protect yourself from being used. Are you afraid to say no to him? That is an abusive relationship. If it is affecting your life more than it should, you could ask for help from a counsellor to help you say no. Best wishes.

If you continue with this kind of relationship then your are like a dart board that is always being poked right in the face and doesn't have any guts to do anything about it..

i understand.. i've been there ecape my man lives in newan..a pretty big difference..well he always uses me for nething b/c he will know that i will do it because i totally love this guy but eventually i got over it and couldn't take it nemore andi told him no more out me.. it's over... then suprise.. he showed up one day and apoigized for it all and we are not together but we are best of friends..and if we both need something we will help each other out..

This guy is obviously taking advantage of your sweetness and if he has done it for years without change, he wont change now. Move on with your life and stop wasting your time.

Maybe you need to be needed and therefore allow it to happen. Try volunteering yourself to some worthy causes in order to gain that feeling of helping, at least you will be more appreciated.
