I would say that I have a little of both.....considering we did everything backwards....had a child, then moved in together, then got married.....I wanted to know that it was going to work....but we have now been married almost 8 years and have 3 kids and couldn't be happier....I think it has to be a mix of both....there are some ideas that should not be forgoten and then there are some that should....it's all up to the two people that are involved....

In my experience bye being married for 26 years the old traditional ways work a lot better then the modern views. Why? Because the modern way is like an open married letting people of destruction in and out of your lives marriage should be protected like something precious someone would like to steal. Take care of your husband and he will care and protect you.

marriage is what u make of it. It is not all fun and games but when it gets bad u have got to be willing to tough it out. marriage should be trust and respect for each other that keeps the love growing stronger. I have lost both in mine, but i do hope yours works out
